Yeah, I am having problems downloading as well. I have downloaded. Deleted. And redownloaded again. Every time it says invalid or corrupted. Even tried it on 2 different computers.

Weird, I downloaded and unzipped with no problem, someone else mentioned it was corrupt though. I made a new zip, try this one out.

Ya, mine has been doing that for a while, I simply got around this by putting a shortcut in the startup folder and setting it to open it minimized. I use it often enough, so I don't care if its just sitting there doing nothing until I go to gps.

it's strange that only dfx has this conflict and not other skins. I wonder what the cause may be.

Can I ask how to startup the shortcut minimized? I'm not a windows pro. Thanks for the suggestion for now.

right click on start (taskbar),explore all users, programs,startup, right click on an open area in folder, create new shortcut, go to your inav directory, choose either iguidance or iguidanceumpc.exe, right click on newly made icon, select properties, inside of properties there is an option "run", choose minimized. -good to go

Edit: you will still get the safety pop-up though, unless blue knows a different way.

Yes, use this as the target path. The nowarning on the end tells iG to not display the begining nag screen

"C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGuidanceUMPC.exe" nowarning

Hey! I love the skin! Its gorgeous, i will be sending in my donation shortly.

I have run into one issue though, and im pretty much a newbie for these fancy front ends, i read through this entire thread and tried searching to no avail. Heres some pictures of the issues im having. I have an 800x480 screen and the play buttons are not resizing appropriately. Should I just mod each of the skin files to compensate (what do i edit in them? I already found the lines of the buttons) or is it a big setting to fix them all at once?

You will have to edit them. This is something that John is already aware of and has been looking for a solution for some time.... This will occur anytime the skin is resized to anything other than the native 800*600 resolution.

It has to do with the fact that the font that he is using as all the button symbols is his own custom font. And for some reason or another when rr resizes the screens this is the after lying artifacts..

Ok well I sorted out most of my issues with the skin editor, got all the words and stuff looking proper...

Funny thing though, on my XM, I no longer see the bars for Sat. That also raises yet another question... whats the Ter for? I was in a metro area once and it was lit up full bars for the first time ever. That was with dfx2 though.

One more question. I like to be able to set a day color and night color so I can see it better day and night, but why is there only one font color change?

I would like for my night to have a skin color and a font color all its own, and the same for day.

Right now the font color applies to both. At night I may want a black background and green font color to match my dash at night. In the day I may want a more gray/white background with black font color to better see it in the sunlight.
Know what I mean?

I gotta tell ya something im loving.. its my blackjack II phone and windows mobile 6.
Only bad thing is the picture taking.

But anyways, I love how I can watch tv on it with mobiTV and I love the simple interface of windows live search.

Is there any way to get these items incorporated into the skin?

I finally got my XM working

Is there a way to update the Xm satelite channels list? cause they sometimes add promotional channels like 63 for MJ this month, but I cant get it. another thing How do I edit My favorites Icon menu to show my favorites channels Icons.

Nevermine the channel list I just updated XMCache now I have all channels

But I still want to know if there is a way I can change the Favorite Icons to display my favorite channels

These are simple problems that I'm having, they are by no means a big deal. Just thought I'd mention it.

I tried to load solitaire game today, all the other games work fine, but when I choose solitaire nothing loads.

When I use scribble pad, when I start to drag a line across the screen it will mute the mp3 that is playing.

Other than that, skin has been awesome!

Sounds like you have gestures on.

two ways around this.

1. Turns gestures off in rrconfig

2. if you use gestures then you need to put a NG,x,y,w,h in the scribble pad skin file that covers the area of the scribble pad.
