Not sure id this is relevant.

The other day I installed DigitalFX3.0 onto my C: drive at work.

Road runner is not installed, I just wanted to check some files so I did a dummy install.##Now today AVG decided that two files had Trojans in them and cleaned them out (no idea why it didn't do it when I installed it or until now)

the files were

movietimesnav.exe
albumviewer.exe

Now whether you AV programs spot these when you download and kill them and then the installer chokes because it expects to find them and doesn't, I don't know.

Wow, glad you posted that.
On my home PC:
OK, I deleted everything. DFX2.0, DFX3.0, and RR.
I disabled my McAfee, reinstalled RR. But it asked me to install in Program Files/RoadRunner, not Program Files/Road<space>Runner. I changed it to Road<space>Runner.
I then installed DFX3.0, and all works now. However, with the DFX install I noticed it asked to install into Program Files/Road Runner, not Program Files/RoadRunner/skins. I just clicked ok...it installed in C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins.

I also did not get anything in my "Start> All Programs" menu. I went into the folder and created desktop shortcuts for RR and RR config.

Now...to try this on my carputer. I have no anti virus on it...different problem anyway.

Ya'll think I can just copy my entire RR folder to my car PC?

EDIT:
Did just that, now it works...except it won't show album art

Let me speak up about the installer that John is using and why it defaults to only the "Program Files\RoadRunner" instead of "Program Files\RoadRunner\Skins". The main reason is because that john tries to install eveything that the skin requires to run correctly and with using the installer, you can only tell it where you want the files to be placed From Parent install folder. So if he changes the parent path to the "Program Files\RoadRunner\Skins" then he won't be able to add/install anything one directory back.

So now you all know why he has it setup this way and if you just leave it to install in all the "default" locations then you shouldn't have any problems. Just as a side note, I have been running RR w/ 3.0 from a "RR Testing" folder on my desktop at home and at work w/o any problems.

Blue,

it should install to Program Files\Road Runner by default, not Program Files\RoadRunner.

It's the space which is important.

I was installing it the default way, I was not changing anything during the install, it still was getting stuck at 30%.
I finally got it installed installed on my home pc by putting the files in the skin folder. I then copied the entire RR folder to my car PC.

I justed installed DFX 3.0 on my home computer and I also noticed that AVG tagged albumviewer.exe as a Trojan Horse.

Also I was wondering if anyone is using T-Mobile cell for there interntet connection. I have it setup so I can get online and browse from both IE and Firefox but I can't update weather or get CNN podcast in DFX 3.0

Are you using folder.jpg for album art? If so, have you included *.jpg in the Album Cover File box in music settings in RRConfig?

I used Zortam to get all my album art, I could never get album art cover to work right.
I guess Zortam uses the ID3 tags?

I did have my album art showing before with the Teknik2 skin and intermittently with the DFX Beta3.

I know it's a pain to add the art manually by using folder.jpg, but it works flawlessly.

OK, so I have Sade.
I downloaded a Sade .jpg image and put it in my Sade folder. I have included *.jpg in the Album Cover File box in music settings in RRConfig. (was already there).
Still no album art

Rename the file "Folder.jpg"
