well my screen cleaning pooch is working pretty much flawlessly now, I have no idea what happened to make it work. I started working on trying to get the wireless stats to show (still can't get this to work, also advance has no effect either), the only changes I made were uninstalling my netgear utility and hooking my gps back up, right after I did this the screen cleaner started working without a hitch (doesn't make sense why this would effect that though, but no other changes were made), there is a bug though, when exiting screen cleaner by pressing menu if you immediately press the menu button again on the menu screen it will exit RR, if you wait just a second before pressing it it will go to menu2 as intended. very very minor, and I'm not nagging, just pointing out my findings, I am more than happy with DFX 3.0, and could care less if these small things are worked on. IMO you made the perfect skin for RR and it will be a challenge for anyone to top it.

The wait is always worth it. So far, no problems!!

Is there any way to get CD art/tracks on there like the MP3 files?

EDIT: DVD still doesnt work.

Sat Radio has been replaced by 2 buttons, XM and Sirius (Both available from the list of choices when you press and HOLD one of the main menu buttons). This way the code is placed on the button so the correct skin loads for the tuner that you have.

Hmmm..........

UNinstalled 3.0 and it wiped out my gdipluswrapper dll and my winamp dll, it supposed to do that? Reregistered the dll's and my other skins worked fine again.

Thought I'd give it another go,REinstalled it, and it wiped out my whole RR install on the next uninstall!

Seems the skin is perfectly happy to install, but gets a little PO'd when you remove it.........

WOah! The dll's were an oversitght on my part, as then installer puts them in place and registers them to make sure they are there. I just set the uninstaller not to uninstall those files.

As for your entire RR setup being wiped, I just cant see how that could happen. The installer only "knows" about the files it installed, and when it uninstalls, just has a list of the files that it copied in the first place, to remove.

I really do not know what happened there.

John,
The XM signal meters still aren't there. I tried adding

/, Y, Back Slider file path
Y01,"slider_battery\slider_*.gif"

to xm.skin, just above the two signal lines. It works, but it also uses the same "image" for the station list slider. Is there any way to separate the two slider types?

Not to break it up, Quick question though. I understand for the Cover Art Browser there needs to be a JPG in the Root Folder. I only have Album art in the albums themselves. Is there ony other way than "one by one" to have something automatically copy/pull a file to the root folder as well? Thanks...

what format is the CNN podcast in? When I press it, it opens in Windows Media Player in a window outside of RR. I'm assuming I need to change the association from windows media player to winamp?

Sorry, not that I know of. I used an image browsing program, to copy the best looking/favorite album cover from the different albums to the root of the artist folder manually.

It is in MP3 Format, WM player has a habit of stealing associations with each and every update if you let it

Now that the skin is released, I can start working on some little things that have been bothering me. I HATE working with Flash, but I did manage to make a new calculator and Scribble Pad, that are now transparent, and all the buttons match the rest of the skin. It gives it a much more integrated look for sure!
