This was an oversight on my part, as I do not use S&T, I just overlooked it, sorry.

Open the StreetsTrips.skin in the skin folder into notepad. Paste the following line at the header of the skin:

INC,DFX_Font_Color.txt

So the top 4 lines of the skin will look like:

MEDIACAR Skin
MEDIACAR MainMenu Skin
StreetsTrips_OFF.png,StreetsTrips_OFF.png,StreetsT rips_ON.png,StreetsTrips_OFF.png
INC,DFX_Font_Color.txt

I also corrected this for the next release.

o man...this is so awesome. John, wait until the 15th and I'll have some cash flow for ya...

but 2 things.
1. my iLists aren't working on the music browser. I have iLists on, and DirectX is installed. The iLists work using LSXvoid (testing to make sure iLists would even work, but they work in that crappy sort of way that keep on scrolling). The iLists work on the Jukebox program also, thats the only spot it works. When I use the music browser i only get that red dot. Does anyone else have this problem.. please don't tell me i'm one of those out of 10 people.

2. The "Lyrics" button when changing the menus isn't in all caps like the others. not a big deal but just pointing it out.

can anyone help me out with number 1?

EDIT: iLists also works in the movie times...john this is so kick ***. i now feel the need to spend the extra $50/month to have internet access in my car

EDIT: I'm an idiot. didn't have latest RR Binary. iLists are working great now

EDIT: Nevermind, the updaters says 9/30/07 but installs 12/13/07

installer says it needs RR release 12/13/07, but I can only find 12/06/07 from guino page. The installer post still says its 9/30/07

Where can I get latests RR?

another problem i'm noticing is the star rating. if i rate a song, then every song after that has stars at the top. the stars are also effective on the screen that loads to rate again. They won't be added to the X Star playlist, but it wasn't like this in 2.5

Thats partly my fault....

In the skins exectbl file you need to uncomment the "onsongstart" cmd

As for the song not making it to the x playlist, can't help you there

It does have a decimal though (15%=.15).

Ok, not sure what the problem is with the beige window, but I do know the problem with the black buttons. The buttons are black due to a very technical and hard to explain phenomenon..... And that is...... I totally for got to skin it It will be corrected in the next release.

Thumbs up Problem with S&T launch for autoroute

Hi,
I'm using Autoroute as navigation but I don't get it to launch in S&T skin. In RR I have configured it as external GPS and instead of writing Microsoft Street & Trips in the GPS windows name I'm writing "Microsoft AutoRoute"

If I launch the GPS for iguidance as is the default GPS I will get the new GPS windows and my Autoroute is starting in the window. But if I choose Street & Trips I will get up the S&T windows but my GPS software is not launching.
Can I edit any file to get it to start when I choose the S&T window?

Thanks for a really nice skin. If I will get everything working so I can use this great skin I will ofcourse donate some money for you.

Thanks
Jonas

the streets and trips code is hard coded on the button. This way if you have iGuidance, Streets and trips and Map Point, you can have all 3 buttons to load them up, all running at the same time, without changing settings in the rr configuration.

If you open the exectbli.ini and search for "streets" you can see the path and window name. You can change them to your program path and window name.

Pretty cool skin - I'm not familiar with older versions but I'll most likely use this when my carPC is ready to go.

One question though - Under Weather/Live, how do I change the default location where it's zoomed to?? Everytime I move it to where I live and close RR, when I re-open it its always back over Florida. I looked around in .ini files for a possible setting but couldn't find one.

Thanks for your help.
It works after I changed the S&T launch path to my Autoroute path in execTBL file and changed window from Microsoft Street & Trips to Microsoft AutoRoute in the StreetStrips skin file.

I will donate some money for you after I have installed it in my car next week and tested it for some time.

Thanks again for a really nice and great skin

Possible to add a eject buttom for CD?

One other newbie question.
Is it any easy way to add a buttom to eject a CD in your skin. Maybe change the mute buttom to eject instead?

John, awesome skin, as we all knew it would be.

Question for you, is there anything in your skin or RR that could possibly cause issues in other front-ends' operation of XM and FM radio? I was using CF before your skin came out, and XM and FM (using Silabs radio) worked fine in CF. After installing RR and your skin yesterday, and playing with it today and yesterday, I went back into CF today for a little bit, and to get XM to work in CF, I had to reboot the pc, and I still can't get FM to work at all.

I can't see how your skin or RR would interfere, but I wanted to see if you had any ideas?
