here you go, make sure the cd you want to have eject is the first cd/dvd drive. I just replaced the mastermute indicator with the eject button (only on menu1 & menu2).

add/replace these files in your dfx3 folder (make a backup though) in case you want mastermute to work again.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/...ed%20eject.zip

if you want to do this on your own, all you do is open up dfx3 in the skin editor and add a new button, command is "eject"

EDIT*LINK UPDATED, now has dedicated button for cd eject on menu1/menu2

Decide wheather you want to get rid of XM or SIRIUS radio(I know you don't have both!)

In C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0, open ExecTBL.ini with Notepad.

Hit Ctrl+H

Find What: XM (Replace XM with SIRIUS if that's what you don't have)
Replace with: EJECT

Then hit "Replace All"

Save the file and close it

Click and hold one of the main buttons that you don't need, such as Video(Any one will do)

Click Eject

You're done! You now have an eject button.

Here's a video on how to put the little square image next to it:

How to change the icons in the skin
You need to upgrade your Flash Player

Open C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/MenuIcons

Put an image in there for your CD called Eject.png
---One possibility is to copy something like RRMedia.png as Eject.png so you don't have to find/make an image

The traffic skin has black buttons, as the International Traffic Cam's plugin does not support transparency.

I need help from the seasoned road runner users.. I have the newest vesrion of rr i have flash and shockwave, i have winamp 5.13 active winamp and i have blue zx3 config file..
I had dowloaded 2.5 as test and still cannot get it to work .. so i went to 3.0

what I cant get to work is the auto mute or pause music when IG 4.0 is giving directions.
The auto switch works, the volume just fights the current song or video volume..
Question if i use dfx 3.0 should i still use blue zx3 config app. I have ig set to external i have ignative checked all 3 options checked. i have my winamp volume at 100% i have my wav volume at 60% i have adjusted the auto switch and pause in the dfx skin and in the config app. I have also adjusted the volume in IG ..

I have read the entire 2.0 -2.5 thread 240+ posts i have read the dfx manual and the posts.. is it possible since i have the ig set to all TTS with the reg key an TTS =2 . That it is not detecting the voice.. to pause winamp.

Also i experience the same issues brewdog has but they are not really a problem..

1. wireless not showing signal using windows utillity i - i will try removing and then reinstalling software (dlink dwl-520+)

2. juke box -cannot delete the song and some song names are wrong.. Very cool though.

3. the default clock if clicked will exit dfx3.0. - all the other logos and clocks work.. only one kia logo (crying).. i have a few pngs though..(smiling)

4.tried all this on test pc and car pc and virtual pc 2007 xpsp2 full install same exact issues using the bmw skin with winamp not auto pausing or muting

5. the IE browswer has the word "menu" overlayed on top of it..-No bigdeal just makes a ghosting image

6. I have no issues with I-lists

7. pc specs dell gx260 full xpps2 2.0ghz 512mb ram audio drivers are soundmax for the onboard audio.

JohnWPB and Guino I just cant even begin to think how much time and effort have been put into development..
8 software installed - ffdshow, iguidance 4.0, wmp 10, mobile emulator, mobile impact, dlink software and drivers, conductor gps configuration, road runner , adobe reader, flash and shockwave, hardly any windows updates winamp 5.13 , active winamp, touch screen drivers for the xenarc 7-tsv and bluetooth drivers for the io gear gbu311
thank you to all dsatx as the psu for it all.

heddan,

my link above in post #92 has been changed, add/replace all files into dfx3 folder. I changed the look of the button, you will now have a dedicated eject button on menu1/menu2 instead of mute. NOTE* this button will not change color with the font color chooser, it is red now, if you want a different color PM me or if you want the eject button on other screens as well.

nigwhyrito,
try turning the volume down a notch in IG its self. then maybe adjust your mixer (wave), this helped for me a little.

as for the problems that we share, I don't really know how to solve those, I do know I'm having some definite flash issues, screen cleaner has a mind of it's own (that pooch I guess decides when he's done licking my screen ) , I switched to the orange flash clock and all the button in rr beacame useless, even after restart, had to go in the folder and delete it, just a few weird glitches that I can't explain. Never had any kind of flash problems before. as long as the speedo works.....I hope thats not jinxed now lol

John did mention that the jukebox was in beta, i'm sure you know this but ypu can delete those files outside of rr in your music directory, a folder is created named downloads

Got every thing working but International Traffic Cam. For some reason it will not use the DigitalFX 3.0 skin. I have tried changing the ini but no luck. Works fine with the default one.

I never tried using the cdrip, I remember enforcer saying it needs to be installed and set-up, I'm not sure what the exact process is though, I did just try it and mine doesn't work either I can get it to run outside of rr though, so I'm guessing mines not set-up correctly either. I think I will search around and see if I can get mine set-up a little later, I've been wanting to start using this anyway.

For those having trouble with CDRip, check to see if there is a wait.skin in the DFX skin folder

Yea, there is a wait.skin, as I put that in some time ago when I was working with CDRip. So its not that, the CDRip has always been a royal pain to get working since the beginning honestly.

It comes only a close second behind Phoco

Well you guys were right. It was flash player. I didn't know I had it on my test computer, and no matter how many times I tried to download it on my car pc, it said installation complete. So I uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and I no longer have white blank spaces or buttons missing labels. Thanks. I knew it was simple but couldn't figure the differences between my 2 computers.

Anyway this skin is the best. I love being able to change colors and font colors, and select where I want buttons. It's great.

I will be sending a donation soon.
