Nop, the changing theme don't interfere here. What I do in my post is simple, I found the label for the Artist, Song and Album on menu.skin and menu2.skin and adjust the height for a better display. With a height of 50, ALMOST every names will fit in.(tested)

Since Im on here, I did the same to the Music menu.

Simply find this lines and modify the red number for 50
These changes need to be made in those files:

Audio_Player.skin - Audio_Playlist - Audio_GPS.skin
Code:
L03,21,30,613,38,#DFX1R#,#DFX1G#,#DFX1B#,23,"Arial","TAGARTIST||= - ||TAGTITLE||= - ||TAGALBUM","SCROLL-LEFT"

Audio_Browser.skin - Audio_Search.skin - Backgrounds.skin
Code:
L03,21,30,613,38,#DFX1R#,#DFX1G#,#DFX1B#,23,"Arial","/ ||TAGARTIST||= - ||TAGTITLE||=","SCROLL-LEFT"

Ok I got a issue that I havent been able to fix since the beginning. I simply do not get any playlist in the Music menu.

If I go browse and Add an album, everything works fine, I now click on playlist to see it, everything is there. When I click on Manage Playlist -- Everything is gone!! Did someone experience something similar.

**Oh and its not a iList problem tested On and Off.(iList works like a charm for me)

Thanks for you help guys

Scrolling heading in 5-day weather.

Anyone else noticed that the second day in the 5-day forecast in weather is scrolling? I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to stop.

If memory serves me correct, it's Wednesday, right? That's because 'Wednesday' has 9 letters, and doesn't fit

Thats it, I just checked and it now moved to the third row. So is auto scrolling a feature in RR? I don't see it happening in other places yet, but Imay just not have been using it long enough.

Thanks

Fire-up RRSkin Editor and go to that label; you can either make it longer (horizontaly) or delete the line "scroll-Left"..

ARTWORK Set up

First off I have to tell you that DigitalFx is the best skin I used yet....I love it. I am however having in an issue with loading the album art. I can't seem to get the artwork to show on the music display. I have changed the RR config to use jpg on mp3's. Also I am not sure what to do in winamp 2.95 to get the artwork to show. When I look at the folders where my mp3's are it shows the art...it is hidden by the way and in the same folder as the music from the album. I have read the forums for this issue and still can't get the artwork to show.

Also the weather isn't showing either when I am hooked up to the internet and the gas price aren't show as well...but the addresses to the ones near me are.

If you can tell me what I am doing wrong that would be great!!

Once again DigitalFx ROCKS!!

Add "m3u" (no quotes) as an audio file type in the music portion of RRConfig and see if that does the trick.

Cameron,

Weather and gas are broken due to changes in websites from where the data is pulled. There is quite a bit of discussion on that. It will be fixed at some point in the future.

I don't know what's going on with your album art. What do you mean in your post when you say "it is hidden by the way?" Check the attributes of your folder.jpg files. If the hidden button is checked you need to uncheck it.

Also, as Enforcer hinted, you need to edit your post to get rid of all those image files. Better yet, take the whole quote out because it doesn't add anything.

I've got the exact same issue. It seems like the app locks up but I think it is just losing focus. Not sure how as I've got almost everything in the tray or a service but one app. Hitting CNTRL-ALT-DEL and then an Escape resumes normal operation.

I was patiently waiting for the next version to see if it was resolved there til I saw your message. Has anyone else encountered this? Resolution? It happens almost every time I get in the car.

What screen are you on when the skin locks up? I am willing to bet this is a flash related issue, and you are either on the main menu with a flash spinning logo, The animated weather images, Color chooser, or on the gauges screen. All of these screens have flash embedded in them, and if flash is not set up correctly on your system, it will peg the processor at 100% and it will appear that the entire system is locked. There are about 500 posts on how to resolve a flash problem, as well as in the FAQ's at the top the forums. It is also in the DFX help file as well.

John,

It's not in weather, color chooser, or the gauges. I seldom use those. However, I am in the Music browser, Play list menu, or main screen a lot. It locks up here, especially the music browser. There are some others too but can't remember exactly which ones. I know about the flash issues and can resolve that one on my own like I did initially and that's how I got the logo (I'm using the multi clock, speedo, tach, etc one) to work in the first place. So, flash *seems* to be fine for me fwiw.
