Well, for the icon, go to the "MenuIcons" folder and rename CDRIP.png to CD RIPPER.png. I'm still looking into getting it to actually work... I had it working in the beta version.
***EDIT***
Go to 3.0's execTBL.ini and look for "CDRIP" and change it to "LOAD;cdrip.skin;RRCDRIP;RUNQ;C:\program files\Road Runner\CDRip\CDRip.exe"
Next, open cdrip.skin. and change the third line to CDRIP_OFF.jpg,CDRIP_OFF.jpg,CDRIP_ON.jpg,CDRIP_ON. jpg, and add this line right below it:
INC,DFX_Font_Color.txt

2-

There is no program to embed, its an RR plugin.
If you want to rip you need to make sure genre, song title and album title have entries.

ok, I guess I get a play list instead of my current cd track listing. I though since I used barnyards instructions and pointing it to the path and window name it was going to embed
edit: the program runs fine outside of RR, can rip and all that good stuff,

Timing was great for the release, as I had to reload all software onto my computer after frying the harddrive when I shoved the whole thing into my dash. I am having problems with DFX in the truck. Works fine on my test computer, of course no external devices are used on the test.
Here is the problem
When trying to open the radio skin and HD radio skin it freezes up road runner. I can open the HD radio using Mitches external application but when I try in DFX it freezes. I have not tried any other skin (only ever used DFX) but I have reloaded RR and DFX with fresh download files. It doesnt seem to do this on any other skins, only radio skins.
Anybody have any ideas? I am downloading a "generic" skin now to give that a try but I didnt want to contaminate my computer with inferior products

John,
This skin is freakin' awesome. Excellent work. So far, I have the majority of the apps working as they should. I'm making my way through the rest of them. PC is barely breaking a sweat at 1~3% cpu load. Hope my $ donation goes towards making you happy. You deserve it.
Bugs <------- Scratch this. I read the Movie Listings thread and see that it's an outstanding issue.
-Movie listings: The scroll is limited locked to the bottom of the slider and won't move when viewing movie descriptions. No scrolling for any movie description. Also noticed that when I hit "navigate" on the description page, it started playing my MP3s. lol Also pauses it if I hit it again. Not sure if that's supposed to happen or not.

Just to avoid re-work for John, that solve my issues, and also to try to be usefull:
IF
1- after install the skin, when hold a button to enter the menu and select the function of the button, there is no option available... all buttons to select the functions are empty...
RE: Remove the changes that you made in "exectbl.ini in RR folder"
2 - Destinator donīt work:
Re: replace the line in the exectbl.ini in the dfx3 folder where refers to destinator, to the following line:
"MyApp46","Load;DESTINATOR_7.skin;destinator;D:\De stinatorApps\destinator.exe;destinator"
...Also remember to select the destinator7 on the second screen of available buttons...
Regards...

If I run cdrip outside of RR it comes up with the track listing(not names but track 1, 2 ect), then when I click cddb it will fill in the blank titles and renames track titles, like you said it won't rip unless I fill in the blank titles(by clicking on cddb). Inside of RR it just displays my winamp playlist, cd doesn't spin up or nothing.
Do you mean a cddb like freedb? I didn't have it before, I just downloaded it and updated the localdbpath= inside of cdrip.ini (was blank before). I think it was pulling the info directly from the cd before (if this is possible). After the changes, there was no difference. I must be missing something if this is working for others, especially since I can run cdrip outside of RR and rip the cd, and it saves it to my designated music folder. I should mention though when run outside of RR it has the old skin that says RR on the top, if run inside of RR it has the newer skin that says cd ripping utility on the top.
The only way I was able to get the cdrip button to work at all was to do what barnyard did in post #106. I'm going to reinstall DFX3.0 and try starting over. If all else fails and I can't get it to work as intended, why can't it be embedded, since it can run outside of RR. I already tried making a new skin in DFX with an app window, and it doesn't work. Probably a stupid question, but just wondering.
Edit: actually the more I think about it, I'm really not going to use this that much anyway, and if I do need to rip or burn a cd in the car that bad I can just use nero.

I've not installed DFX so can't say for this skin, I know I've had it working in iDrive before.
Maybe try another skin which has it.
