I've seen a number of skins which have .ini files for the various components which have "C:\Program Files\Road Runner" hard coded in any number of places causing a bunch of things to fail if you installed in "RoadRunner".

at risk of being "capslocked" can I ask if DFX and the garmin OSK work together nicely ?
I'm sat on a train on my PDA ATM, so can't do a proper search ( joys of crap UK roaming

)

Any hard code paths anywhere in a plugin or any app for that matter shows bad programing style...

YEAH, IT WORK FINE. JUST GOT TO SETUP A BUTTON IN DFX WITH THE COMMAND TO CALL IT.

How do i disable iList in the new DFX 4.0? it's not where it says it is in the original post

reason i need to disable it is because i can't see any lists of anything when i go to music -> browser or to digital fx settings to change the logos and stuff. it's just blank and if i click "Browser" after going to "Music" the whole program locks up.

i have the most up-to-date flash player, the most up-to-date DFX and most up-to-date directx.

iNcArCeRaTiOn, have you tried updating your graphics driver ?
I had similar problem after reloading XP on my PC, and after much deliberation, found it to be the driver that I hadn't reloaded at that point.

Otherwise, I think (not in front of DFX at the mo) that you'll find it somewhere in settings, DFX skin settings, and is an option to turn ilists on or off.

To turn off iLists globally, put this in the RR.ini:

usedx=false

This is something that was added in the latest build of RR that was not documented.

impartial, that's where it was in the menu in the build before 4.0 but it's not there now...

thanks for the reply john, i put that in my rr.ini and restarted and tried it and it still is having the same issue =\

Loving RR, and with dfx4 the combo makes for a great frontend

I've got a few "issues" i'd like to iron out before it goes into my showcar though - any pointers are appreciated :wink:

Is there a reliable, functional phone plugin out there ? I've tried all of them, and either get one-way connections, and no audio, or a "one call wonder" app.

I'd like to use GarminMPC to work with the OSK in one click, but the included scrpit just opens the OSK, not GMPC at the same time ?
It's no big deal, as I'm running Destinator with no problems at all ( even though the routing is kinda...erm....."off" sometimes

Keep it up everyone - awesome work going on here.
Hell, once I get back off ma holidays i'll put my skin up for feedback.

Yea, I removed the option from the skin, intending to move the button to somewhere else.... and I forgot

It is now in the skin settings / change colors / screen for the next release.

If it's not working, make sure you have the latest build of Road Runner, as that rr.ini option will not work on older RR. versions

I'm new to RR. I installed the program and this skin, but
how do i change colors and clock? and the buttons on the bottom are not previous,play,next buttons, but it's diplayed with numbers, 0,1,2,3,4,4,5 like this.
how can i fix that?

I must admit I've learned EVERYTHING I needed to know about this program and skins thanks to you guys!

Oe question---Does this skin upport GAMES?I saw some skins having games,but i don't like the skins looking themselves...So---Is there possibility of GAMES?
