The Windows wireless networks list shows up in the upper area for me, and did before these changes. Just wondering what is supposed to be different.

Yes it should fix the connection info. Not sure why your getting a error. Did you just put it at the end of your rr.ini? Mine looks like this...
[Wirelees Fix]
startcommand=RUN;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man.exe

I tried to load solitaire game today, all the other games work fine, but when I choose solitaire nothing loads.
When I use scribble pad, when I start to drag a line across the screen it will mute the mp3 that is playing.
Other than that, skin has been awesome!
I just want to add aslo that solitare does not load for me. I checked the dfx games folder and the flash swf file for solitarie is not in there.. We may have to find a good one online and save the webpage then extract the flash.

I tried it also. It did not work 100% . the labels did appear but then dfx3.0 closed down hard and never populated the top information. IT also spiked my 2.0ghz pc to 100% and the hour glass kept comming up like it was looking for another script or stuck in a loop.

In the \DigitalFX 3.0\Scripts\WirelessList dir change Wirelessrr.exe to Wireless.exe
In the ExecTBL.ini change "WirelessLabels","Runq;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man. exe" to "WirelessLabels","Run;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man.e xe"
Add this line to your rr.ini startcommand=RUN;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man.exe
Hope this helps.
I just added to end of rr.ini and inside the exectbl.ini. Maybe since i used rrconfig the first time maybe i need to use that to edit the .ini s' since this time i just used notepad.
edit--- EUREKA figured it out. Okay for us newbies using rrconfig.. do not cut and paste
"WirelessLabels","Run;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man.e xe" or startcommand=RUN;$SKINPATH$Scripts\wifi_man.exe
Nicholoson's fix figures we are smarter than the normal user, instead us newbies have to put the auctual skin path. example this is what i have in the rr config ini app for exectbl.ini
"WirelessLabels","Run;"C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\Scripts\wifi_man.exe"
note i used the whole path not "$skinpath$" god i feel stupid for not thinking of it as a variable.Now put this in the ini extras. That is if you use the default paths.
startcommand=RUN;C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\Scripts\wifi_man.exe
thank you Nicholoson for the instructions on fixing this..
Okay now i still need to figure out why winamp wont freaking pause or mute when ig gives directions but will work perfectly in carwings skin when ig says directions..

XM has a bunch of land based (terrestrial) towers around, mostly near big cities, in addition to the satellites. The Ter indicator will show when you're tapping into those.

One needs to edit XM_Favorites.skin to change the channel number for each button and edit XM_Favorites_On.png and XM_Favorites_Off.png to add the channel icons to the appropriate buttons. Once upon a time, John supplied the channel icons and the necessary PSD files, so that editing was pretty easy. I don't see them in this release, so don't know if he intends to make them available. I assume he does and has just forgotten to include them, but that will be up to him.

Add on note: Mainly because the buildings block the sat signal. XM has tons of towers to fill in the blank spots because of their geosynchronous satellites.

It would be handy if that skin was modifiable the same way the main menus can be changed on the fly.

What did you find wrong with using cut & paste??

No, not true. RoadRunner will convert $skinpath$ to whatever you have it set to in the ini/config, before it executes the run cmd. Using the variable or the whole path will result in the same.

I have done some work on being able to have a menu where you will be able to now turn on/off the plugins instead of editing the plugin.txt from within the skin.
I'll show it to John when he returns, while we are getting the media plugin intergrated in the next release.

HD Radio will not work in DFX, it freezes up RR. I can get it to load in LSX, it also works with the stand alone program from Mitch.
Anybody have an idea what may be causing this. Am I missing a driver or something?
Before anyone says it yes I have checked the settings in the config file.

Niguhyrito,
Not sure why you think you have to dash me for trying to help and as to being smarter than the normal use, I am working on my first carpc and install. I just did a little reading on this site. It will work just as I posted it if your rr and skin install is normal and has no issues.
