NOTE: The XM icons are in PNG format, and just renamed to .gif so RR will display them. If you attempt to load them into Photoshop, it will complain that the file can not be loaded, as it things it is a gif, and cant load it as such. Road Runner is smart enough to look at the header in the image file to determine what kind of image it actually is, believe it or not, Photoshop is not that smart
The templates are actually out of date, it looks like they're for the 2.5 version of DFX. I went and pulled together my own photoshop file with the 3.0 version.
Enjoy.
Edit: I noticed after the fact that there was some bad blending with lighter backgrounds, so I tweaked that so it looks less half-arsed. Also, you will need to modify the XM_Favorite.skin, there are issues with the selection areas, and of course you need to set your channels as well.

Very Nice! Everything stable over here, every time I play with DFX I discover something new about it! The only request I have is a release in binary form. I really don't like the installer at all, maybe its just me, but I find the installer to actually complicate the install of a skin. I use non-standard paths so these types of skins packaged with an installer I just extract to a temp directory and start working from there.

I have XM working. There is nothing to do other than ordinary setup in RRConfig. If it was working before there's no reason why it won't work with the new version of the skin.

Ok, two installs of flash later and it is working. I removed the first, then tried the link in the FAQ a second time. That didn't work. So I removed it again. Then I just installed directly from Adobe and now it works.
Looking good!

Let me know what all you did and maybe I can help you out. It's flippin sweet once you get it running
Ok, done this several times, I click on HD Radio, I can hear the reciever turn on and back off. The skin never opens, RR freezes up, and I have to reboot and start all over. Even before I connected the reciever, RR froze up. It also freezes up with the radio skin. The same download opens on the test computer.

Color quality keeps resetting to 8-bit on main menu???
I have just installed DXF-3.0, and I love it. Great job to all... I wasplayin around with setting my screen resolution to 1024x768 the other day, and my 7" Lilliput didn't like it. So I changed it back to 800x600. Now every time when I start RR w/ DXF-3.0 something is resetting the color quality back to 8-bit. If I min RR and reset it in display properties, all the screens eccept the main screen will display 16-bit or 32-bit. Is there a setting in the ini file, or something in winamp that might be causing this. This has me really stumped. And when I changed the screen res I also set it in RR config, I have also reset it to 800x600. This will not solve my problem either.

so the new library search feature is buried within the regular search button...is there anyway to remap the search button to the library button? cuz i really dont need the regular search and holding it down for the library search is a problem for me cuz it doesnt play nice with my touch screen. It only works half the times...
Sorry for this noob question, this is probably an easy fix for most of y'all but im having a tough time figuring it out.
thanks
//EDIT:
nvm, i figured it out from looking at the digital fx 2.5 audio_browser.skin
I changed this line in Audio_Browser.skin for version 3.0

into

B08,595,164,100,89,"Load;Audio_Search.skin",
Everything seems to be working fine. I'm a happy man!

Don't know if I understood what you meant by "same download opens on the test computer."
But also, it freezes even without the radio connected to the pc? Are you using RRConfig to setup your radio settings? Set everything to HD Radio?
When I hit HD Radio, I do get a slight pause as the unit clicks on but no more than a few seconds. Also when going back to the Music screen to kick-off the radio there is another pause... unit clicks off... mutes Line-in... then Music screen loads.
I would double check your config settings next if you already have all the right files... in rr.ini set HDRadioport=3 (or whatever port you are using), radiomode=8 (for HDRadio)
Just trying to cover all bases. It seemed really simple in my setup so it may be a small bug on your end
