This is a software thread, specifically for the DFX skin for the RoadRunner front end. You will certainly have better luck getting relevant responses if you go to http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/mp3car-technical/ and post in the general hardware or display subforums.

Ok here is my problem, I have my BT USB adapter plugged in and I go to device manager to see what the com port is, and there is NO com port for my bt.
Now my BT is in the device manager clear as day, however when I click on the ports to display all. The only one I see is com1. Now before anyone thinks I am an fool, for asking this, here is the kicker, if i go to my bt software I can connect to my cell phone and transfer pics, videos, use the voice gateway. But if I try to get this to work with my RR and digitalfx skin nothing seems to work.
I even tried connecting with freefone outside of RR and DigitalFX. Still Nothing! I really think I just need to point my freefone to the correct port, however like I said earlier, I have no Idea what port this is?
So I am so confused and don't know how I can determine what port this BT USB Adapter is connected to!
If someone can help me out that would be good!
Thanks
Phil

Wow, nice looking install! Must have been a real PITA to move the A/C controls down there, but it sure looks good!

hMmm I got a problem here... I have radioshark and using the rr config to configure it, it wont "Save" it as radioshark. It keeps reverting to HQCT. So I opened rr.ini and included
[Radio]
radiomode=6
radiatorpath=C:\Program Files\Griffin Technology\radioSHARK\
All works great... radio works and everything but the moment I open the config to change something, it changes my radiomode. I have to keep manually editing the rr.ini file everytime I use rr config.
Is this a known issue? Or am I just special? LOL....

I too have noticed strange happenings with rrconfig. The most common is that if you open it, and just close it, it erases the preload screens settings. I think it needs to read the rr.ini and preserve its existing contents properly.

1. How do you change the font size in the main display? Right now, it looks like the font is being cut-off right below the Song/Artist.
2. Gas prices not coming back? It doesnt seem to be displaying the prices for gas. It gets all the cheapest gas stations but does not display the gas prices. I dont know if this is font related or not.
Thanks!

I could take a look at these probs...
There IS a stickied config thread to post problems, or to add a request in, instead of this skin thread.

I dont think it's designed to do that right now. Mine doesnt do it either.
As for HD Radio, I'm not really impressed with it. Bad reception and only plays on front speakers.

It is not a skin issue, but a RR code problem. The Gas prices site changed their layout on the web page. This has broken the internal RR code that handles it. Until EvolutionIII (Who added the code to RR) fixes it, or someone else does, this will not work for the time being

I am surprised to hear that.... I have just a small piece of wire stuck in the antenna jack here, and am getting tons of stations.
As for only playing on the front speakers, that is some sort of issue with the line on on your head unit, or some sort of audio configuration on your system. Sound comes out of all 4 speakers here just fine.

Mine has always played out the front only. Have tried multiple sound cards. Have seen many others on here also say they have the same problem. Not sure why.

Thanks for clearing that up John... do you happen to have the answer to question 1 as well (with regards to the font being chopped off at the bottom) ?

ERROR loading image file(s) for: menu.skin
What am I missing?
I did the install as DigitalFX install directed.
Does this have to do with .swf files? I've never used them before so I may be missing something.
All I end up with after the logo screen disappears is a thin (1/2 inch) vertical bar where I assume the menu should be.
Looking at debug.txt, it appears that everything continues and is waiting far a button depression.
Any comment.
Regards,
Jim
