Please, post your experience with building the database, either that it worked no problems for you, or if you had issues. I can't stand the silence!
Also any bugs that you find, as soon as you find them, so I can get them fixed as soon as possible.
Please feel free to contact me on Yahoo Messenger at JohnWPBFL. I am usually up late, and if I am sleeping the speakers are off.

Did a quick load on my laptop and have not even looked at any special loading instructions that might be out there, but since you asked. Tried building database and got an endless stream of com errors.
Oh yeah, it also changed the fonts on my computer. Time to restore! lol

Changed my whole OS font to the default skin font. Changed font back to Ariel in skin and remained the DFX4 default font.
I'm running this on Cy2.0 GHZ Board, 1mb of ram, 250GB sata drive and it is very sluggish.. Any ideas?

No issues loading the db. Loaded 834 songs in 3min 43 sec. Only issue so far is on the gauges, the cpu jumps from ~8% to 100% then back down to and holds at 78%. I currently have this installed on a desktop with no gps receiver attached. That could be the cause of increased cpu usage as it may be searching for the receiver. I'll update once I install in vehicle.

Not sure what the font issue that you guys are talking about, it installs 4 new fonts in the windows font folder. These are not set for use by windows in any way, and when you change the font in the skin, it simply save the font name to a include.txt file so the skin uses that font name. For instance if you set the font to ariel, it saves a include file with dfxfont="ariel" then in the skins it uses #dfxfont# as the name of the font.
Bottom line is that the font, when selected, just writes the name to a text file that the skin uses. It in no way changes the font that the OS is using.

John, the font on my OS changed upon the completion of install/restart. Not when changed in skin. The font was changed before i even opened RR for the first time to see the DFX4.
I also am getting a flashing mouse/hour glass on top of the skin, If I close the running Scripts in the taskbar it stops..
Otherwise, it is amazing.. Absolutely phenomenal.

I am playing with it on my desktop as well and at Idle in the skin my CPU is 1%. I have no gps hooked up on the desktop either. It is also a AMD FX Dual core, 2GB Ram, and Nvidia 8800GTX running the graphics so.....

So I am going to chalk up the poor performance to my motherboards on board video chipset. I have it running lowest possible and it is a little better. Also switching to a static logo away from animated analog clock cut my CPU use by 35%.
Only other issue, I have had RR freeze in the Gauges screen twice now.
On a good not, It fixed my newly installed HD radio that wouldn't work.

I noticed the cpu issue in dfx3.0 with the animated logo. Going to a still logo fixed that issue as well.

LOL Dougw133
John, The Install changed my fonts also, although I believe it just made them "bold".
As for Flash, It is what it is, so, I also just reduce its use in the skin..
Very NICE Job!!!! I cant wait to dive in!
ROAD RUNNER Needs it's own Board!!!
