New Skin - Argyle BETA RELEASE
CHECK POST #22
Made a new skin to incorporate some new features of RR. It has no flash and is pretty basic.
Tell me how it looks so far!
So far:
Main - 100%
Audio - 90%
Audio browser - 100%
video - 100%
video browser - 100%
gps - 100%
mixer - 100%
gasnav - 100%
movietimes - 100%
weather - 100%
traffic - 0%
web browser - 100%
pic viewer - 100%
games - 25%
file transfer - 0%
wifi - 0%
skin browser - 100%
radio - debating to add podcast screen, i don't use radio or xm
phoco - don't really use it, but i might add it
background picker - not planning on it, but that may change
My Main Screen - don't want a lot of info on it
Audio Player
Audio Browser - still digging the old school
iGuidance - still running iG3

so yeah....
the bottom bar doesn't really change. The 5 icons on the lower right change according to the screen. This way the rest of my touchscreen can be dedicated to whatever screen i'm viewing.
Just trying to keep it real clean and simple.

Looks good, nice and simple. One comment: IMO, the buttons that have opposite functions should be placed next to each other or fairly close-by i.e. "page up" right above "page down"; "vol+" right next to "vol-"; "next" right next to "prev" and so on..
That came to mind when i looked at your audio/album browser. Again, just my preference.
I love album mode browsers so this is probable a skin i would use. Keep it up.
P.S. That's a good name too.

lol yes its in sonique evolution.. now when thats ever being released is the question. I get awful lazy when i dont have a system in the car to test my efforts.

my thread got hijacked 
anyways... completed some more skins. Here are some weather skin shots
5 day forecast
radar screen
and enlarged screen
I'm almost done an autoit script that will will let you grab any image you want from the internet, then display them on the weather radar screens (3 screens, 4 pics on each for a total of 12). So since i live on the east cost, i have east cost temps, precipitation, forecast, etc. but a person in the UK or west coast can just edit the .ini file and use the images they want. Or if you other images like satelite or severe weather you can use those too. But you won't have to change any coding in the skin at all, just the .ini file. |
