No, I am not saying it's cool, I'm just going to get my sunglasses on.
Otherwise
1. LCD font can look crap if you don't get the size right.
2. Button logos (play, FFWD, RWD, UP, DOWN etc) look very poor quality.
That's it for now.

Dam, and i thought i had it bad by not getting replies on the skin.
Skinning is a lot of work. So thumbs up for that.
I think what you are trying to do is make the skin look like an oem - radio, that’s why you use the LCD-front Wright?
But its not, its a cpc and making it look not like the factory radio is a +
Is there a part of the saab-logo that you can use in the skin as a concept
Lets say put to logo on the right and let the fire create areas where to put text or pictures.
Have you used other skins in your car. I didn’t like the switching of the buttons on the skins i tested. In the car you want a skin that you can use blindly. A feature i use a lot is the volume and next mp3 in the menu skin.
tip, move the off button in your menu. If you use the exit in a different menu, and the road is a little bumpy, you might switch off rr unintentionally

I have to agree with enforcer, the font is not really good, and the symbols are poor quality. I'd recommend the Wingdings font for the symbols, there are some symbols that can replace the ones you were trying. The LCD Dot font could be good, but the version you have leaves something to be desired. The color is also not very contrasting the buttons below, try a lighter shade. The way it is seems like it would be hard to read in the car.
The OFF key should be bigger (same size as the rest) and bring up the "EXIT_MENU.skin" to prevent accidental power down.
Also, the yellow around the buttons seems a little out of place, maybe if the font were that color, or I don't know, it doesn't seem to fit.
Lastly, the logo in the center is nice and further lets those riding in your saab know that it is indeed a saab, but if I wanted to download this skin, I'd have to open that image and change it to something different. If you make it an indicator or otherwise dynamically loadable, you'll probably have more people download the skin.
I'm not trying to be negative. You've got a good start, but it needs a little more working to get it right.

I would loose the fractal background and go with something a little more subtle.

oh, ya, I was going to add that you should use transparent buttons to allow changeable backgrounds. That green is a little much.

I thought the backround was user changeable, and that the buttons were transparent.
The green is not such a problem, my sunglasses comment was more at the image with the dayglo sliders on the green background.

You use green, because the dash lighting is also green? if so don't change that
Think the green with the strips or what ever you call that, stands for the phoenix that has risen from the fire. That is good for a saab skin

I like it.
My dash lighting is green and this would work very nicely.
It should also be pretty good for sunlight readability.
I agree with the comments about the ff/rwd/play graphics looking like poor quality. The edges are just abit too "fuzzy".
The LED font is also not so great and is kind of hard to see, but I understand the reasoning behind using it. It would probably disappear completely under sunlight conditions.
An excellent start though............

Sorry, i liked the previeus one better, this starts to look a bit like a cartoon.
Do you have pictures of the interieur or an original saab radio, to help you brainstorm.
