Anyone know how to set an indicator state...

...if there are no more folders to browse?

Basically, as you browse a folder in a DL, an indicator stays "ON" if the current DLPATH has a folder in it and shows a state "OFF" if there are no more folders in it.

I can do it using AI, but I'd much rather not have to do it that way...

Anyway to do this solely in RR?

BOTTOMDL just indicates if you can pgdown past the current screen regardless of the DL content.

All the arrows in the skin above are indicators. What I want to do is to turn "off" the right arrow indicator if there are no more folders to browse in the DL window. I've been wrapping my head around this for a few days now with no RR-based solution in sight.

yea i dont see a way of doin that in RR either. I dont believe rr stores a folder count to measure its folder position.

you could use flash to set up an "if" statement: (obviously not flash code)

-SETVARBYCODE;DLTEXT1;DLTEXT
-button w/ command BROWSE

-IF statement:
if DLTEXT == DLTEXT1
fscommand(set indicator off)

ETC.... basically it will turn the indicator off if you hit browse and the current selected item doesnt change. thats the only way i could think of it recognizing whether the folder has changed or not. as for turning it ON, not sure yet.

I used something similar using RR's EVAL function in one of my earlier attempts, but it's not as clean working as I would like...

Just a new skin I'm working on. I've gotten bored w/ MMI and wanted to have something more visually appealing in my carPC.

The Skin Browser:

It really is amazing how flexible RR is.
