OMEGA 1.0.1 Beta Release
Ok, here it is. Beta release of OMEGA.
EDIT 07.21.08. Version 1.0.1 available for download.
Minor bug fixes, Radar maps are continetal US. Added shuffle and repeat buttons to the player.
Download HERE
or when approved, download it from the download link at the top.
Unzip to your skin folder, read the doc, follow instructions and have fun.
Report bugs in this thread as I will close the other one.

Forgot to mention in the doc file....in the audio_player click on the album art to start browsing.
When I get Blue's plugin, I will update the skin.

Awesome! Testing it out now, found one tiny bug in the skin.ini
mappath=C:\ Progam Files\Road Runner\Skins\Omega\Maps\
I'm changing everything over to my non standard paths
Really sleek and very well done, A+ work going on here MGD!

Nice catch, but I think this line is obsolete unless you use mappoint.
There will be something in there what is not required for the skin to work as this is not required. I use iGuidance, so just delete that line or leave it. No harm done.
I did'nt do a good job cleaning up the code ..... I think

I think this is a very nice and clean skin, but I do have a few suggestions:
When in the menu 2 items (ytube for example), and I click back, it will go back to menu 1 rather than where I was before, that's not what I expected.
When I change the theme or logo, roadrunner shuts down rather than restarts.
Most screens do not have track info, so I don't know what song is playing, instead it tells me what day it is. I really only need that info once a day, so replacing that with track info would be more important. (I know there's the announce thing, but I really don't like it)
On the audio browser screen, the font for the time is different than the other screens (should be the same label code copied into each)
The video menu hides too quick, so I basically have to hold my finger on the screen the whole time just to switch to the next video.
You have a skin called "evic," so what hardware is needed to access the Chrysler EVIC information?
Overall I think the skin is nice, and with a little itty bit more work will be one of the "greats" for sure.
