Talking To all Here it is... My final graphic layout...

Here is the final version that I have come up with. I have put in a ton of time on the all the graphics. I have the FB, GPS RRF, Sirius Radio set up But I want to try and run the Sirius Stuff from my radio interface... Everything seems to work well. I'm trying to get the milage plugin up and going so that I have an odometer to track my miles on my car. I must say this has been a huge learning curve but for my car it will be all worth it.

Let me know what you all think of my new graphics. Like I said if someone could help me make my radio interface talk to the Sirius Radio stuff I'm up for learning.

Thanks to everyone for helping me!

Troy

carputer1 will become famous soon enough
looking good , like the graphics , pos. the size of the font in the stereo display could do with being slighly bigger i think, looks to be a bit small, epscially when on a 7" screen.
i'm intrested in how some of your other screens will look like .

keep up the project .

ENJOY

My radio is built from flash and changes based on what is playing. So I can get to everything just like a real radio. If I hit the radio it (for now goes to the radio skin) but it will be just changing to run HD radio (soon) and that goes for the mp3 player and the Sirius Radio stuff as well. This little flash component is very high tech. and it's fast. It's written in action script mainly. to make the reaction times pretty good. It also has a menu to all me to use it as navigation. It works great for me. I don't have a lot of skins pages on here. Maybe 10 -12 I think I would have to count them.

For the monitor I guess it's what you get use to. I can see them fine as well as I have been testing it in the car. You can see it at all positions (driver and passenger) in the car. This size of the screen also fits like a glove in the console. The main set of gauges for the car are larger as well.

My accessories skin is great I can see all the buttons and touch them with my fingers with no fear of hitting the incorrect button. My battery monitors look great and I hoping to work off of the plugin sonic built. Remember this is a kit car it's unlike the modern cars of today there is very little to do.

my list... Heater, Defroster, Wipers, Turn Signals, Head lights, Bright lights, Parking lights, Interior light, Doors (poppers), Trunk (popper)

I will be monitoring 12 -12v batteries for my main power supply 144volts and 1 -12v accessory battery to run everything else on the car. It is going to be awesome monitoring system for sure and I might be able to say a one of a kind.

I wanted the system to be smalll. Could the monitor be bigger I'm sure it could but that's what fits. I want all the parts to fit and look in place and does a great job of that. I'm building a show car. To show all all around the area and to promote my new company.

I have already turned down 45k for the car.
I want to drive it some and show it off then I can sell it. lol

Thanks for the great input... Now you know why it is what it is.
Heck who knows this thing might even end up on an EV (electric vehicle) magazine one day.

It's all starting to come together. Lots of hard work and money.

Gauge skin for my EV using Flash, RRFusion and FB

Well worked today on the gauge skin... I'm getting pretty good at this stuff. You all better be careful... lol

I'm using Flash to run all the gauages and radio on the bottom.

I'm using the RRFusion plugin and a FB v4 to get all the battery information from my all 13 batteries in my car. I'm going to need another Fusion Brain.... Sonic! lol!
I have every one of the possible outputs and analog taking up......

I still have the Amp-Hour Capacity to go....

But I must say it is rocking. If this works as well in my car as it does on the test bed here... This is going to be a true EV show car!

Let me know what you all think of it...
Thanks to all..
