Did GMPC start with the plugin or did you have to start GMPC before RR?

Hi,

Figured it out!
In EXECTBL the setting was: "RUNGMPC","RUN;$Garminpath$;!CDP",GMPC.skin
But in RR it was: gpspath=C:\GarminMobilePC\Que.exeSo I changed EXECTBL to:
"RUNGMPC","RUN;$gpspath$;!CDP",GMPC.skin

Hi,

What is the best way of closing GMPC window when clicking on the "back" button.
The current comand is on the back button is: "X_OVERLAY||EXIT"

You can add

"CLOSEWINDOW;!CDP" to the command to close GMPC on back, but RR should close it out when it closes.

Hi,

Not sure what the problem is but if GMPC is closed via RR with closing window etc, GMPC wont restart unless I reboot the PC?

New graphics coming soon, Along with the other resolutions. I found a cool program called GIRsplit by pbarrette and I used the images from GMPC to make the overlay look more OEM:

I'm applying the changes to the other resolutions, and testing them out and a release will come very soon.

LOL I seen that screen a lot on Sat... and If you purchase the Version with the receiver you have to use the receiver...
It might be a great idea for the mp3 store to carry the software only version...

My 15 day trial is up, and I don't think I'm going to end up purchasing the software, I like IG better, and I think I'm going to upgrade to '09 pretty soon. Garmin is great, and I wouldn't have gone to all this trouble for something I wouldn't use, I just prefer IG a little better.

Me too, looks fab.
Any idea how to get GMPC to close correctly? Mine doesnt close correctly and because of it, wont re-start unless I re-boot pc

I still plan on maintaining it, I just most likely will not be using GMPC, so it will be hard for me to test the overlays properly... That's all.

The new update may solve the issues you are having, so it might be worth the wait (hopefully not too long.)

having trouble getting back to my frontend main menu on the overlay "back" button. Will hunt around a bit tonite instead of doing my Chem and Calc, but still bugs me, it should work........

here is my skin for LSX, it's only for 800x600,
if anyone is interested I can make one for 480

let me know if there is any issues with it..

I wasn't able to get garmin to load using the GMPC.skin
so i have renamed mine to external_gps.skin and set garmin as my app, works a lot better for me.
