I forgot to include a little something extra for the MyMobiler app to make it look more integrated. Check out the first post.

I know what you mean, alot of folks use alot of different programs on here and this Main menu is just to "my" liking. the attached zip contains an empty menu in the various colours with the left and right glass overlay. I tried writing the script for the dynamic buttons but it was too much of a pain so if you guys wanna give it a shot and share, be my guest.

This looks great! What am I missing to get the song spectrum over the alien head?
This skin scales VERY! well down to 800x480, and I think I will begin trying to skin GMPC for this skin, by changing the .gir file. We'll see how it goes! I have a good concept in mind. (506 Garmin) If I can get it working, I'll run it past you and see if it is up to your standards for the skin. But as it is right now, this is great!

Still confusing to me but wouldn't an additional "icons folder" be needed?

Imma need that, thanks much. I tried following the Jphns DFX Skin, but i would get lost in all that code end up with crossed eyes. Again thanks, ive already started putting things together with this.

I thought about garmin but i don't have the garmin software so i just went with what i have so most definitely if you can get something working then great. If you need anything just let me know.

Not really, thats what the Icons folder is for, i forgot to take the cd cases out of there, they are for the diskchanger i'm working on so instead of a disk name it can be represented by a cd cover, if i can ever get RRMedia working right for me.

I meant for the main menu to be dynamic there has to be a folder with the main menu icons.
Been messing with it and something is happening, still need to figure-out Carputer1 way of coding. The button commands work and are at the left and right edge of the skin but i can't get the darn icons to line-up with the buttons..
It's going to be a long night..
BTW - Those are Carputer1's MediaStyle icons being used for testing.

Hey docbreezy,
Been playing a little here. Really clean looking skin. Couple comments/suggestions.
Can you do me a favor and change the references for backgrounds to the standardized $RRPATH$Backgrounds. I went through and tried but I must have missed a few.
I also think you ought to swap the topbar1.txt labels. Its kinda hard to read the bottom labels in the convertable cause the text is all washed out and your eyes just naturally gravitate to the top line anyway so put the info that changes the most there. Also, for the internet radio crowd, please change "TAGTITLE" to "TRACKNAME".
I recognize not everyone agrees, but I have bright text on my night skins and dark text on my day skins. Is there a way you can change the text to black for the day skin. My day skin backgrounds are all very bright and white text gets washed out.
I also noticed the next/prev buttons in the video player only FF/RWD. If you're gonna expand this skin to FM, XM, HD radio, etc., you may consider using RRNEXT/RRPREV instead of NEXT/PREV.
Keep up the great work. This skin has excellent potential!

Always appreciate suggestions and i will try to address some of them.
1. I use the Backgrounds folder in my skin because it makes it easier to transport to and from the car, i only have to copy my skin folder. But there are two places you need to change SKINPATH to RRPATH for it to work. In the BKGrnd.skin and the Exctbl , the lines with SETBGND, SETNIGHTBKGND and SETDAYBKGND.
2. If you look at the TopBar2.txt, you will see the TRACKNAME, i used it for the videoplayer screen so you can just swap the INC,Topbar1.txt with TopBar2.txt in whatever screen you want it.
3. Since its in a .txt file it should be easy to adjust the fonts to the way you like that will affect all the screens. The only screens that don't use the INC,Topbar line is th Mixer, EQ and Phone
I probably will change the PREV/NEXT Button since i plan on making an xm screen once i have it set up.
