Run a command on skin load (feature request)

Is there a way to run a command in a skin without a button (ex ONLOAD or similar)? Could this feature be added in? I figured this would be more beneficial for the community than just skipping the menu.skin - See below

For my skin I want to bypass a root menu since it is visible througout the skin. Currently I'm doing this by setting a variable named $MAINSKIN$ and calling it via a start command. This requires setting the value in RR.INI(global). I would like not to modify RR.INI as users may have specific commands already in place. Plus if they choose to not use my skin it would be junk code in RR.ini at that point. I would like to control this on the skin level (local). I even looked through my debug.txt to see if there was a command I could piggy back off of to open the $MAINSKIN$ variable and found nothing that worked outside of what I already have. I have a solution that works but again modifying RR.ini is not desired IMO.

have you tryed ONSKINSTART in your exectbl.ini in your skin file, this runs cmds when you start Riderunner ,almost all skins use it , to either set another screen or set dynamic menu buttons etc, this is from my exectbl.ini

"ONSKINSTART","BUTTONS||1STRUN||ONUSER"

"BUTTONS","SETVAR;BUTTONREADY"
"1STRUN","BYVAR;1STRUN;NOTHING<<MENU;Settings.skin ||SAVETOSKIN;1STRUN;0"

when i start Riderunner and the skin is loading, the ONSKINSTART line sets my dynamic buttons , then opens my settings.skin , and sets the skin.ini to 0 so my settings screen dose not show on 1strun again,

OMG I completely overlooked that one. It's not in the documentation which may be part of the reason and the fact I'm apparently blind when i'm in my exectbl.ini file. That works exactly for what I need.
