Alpine

Alpine Skins
Available in 848x480 and 800x600
Get Them Here.

Logos added 05/10/2006
Two new logos added for Road Runner Alpine skins.
  • Oldsmobile logo from the 70's
  • Pontiac

Updated 4/5/2006
All Road Runner Alpine skins have been updated with:
Skip to in the audio browser.
Flash logos in the main menu.
GPS next turn indicator and distance to turn in the Audio Player. (adding this caused minilyrics to not embed, to fix it just set "always on top" in the minilyrics preferences). Also add startcommand=CLOSELYRICS to your rr.ini

Gestures.bmp.
And a few other small things.
Also there's a new "Main Menu" for the round logos, it's also available in the download section.
A few requested logos have been made and are available in the download section as well.

Updated 3/8/2006
Added Alpine (Blue-Red) and Alpine (Blue-Red-S). This skin was requested by gerard to match the VW interior. It's the blue skin with red buttons.

All Alpine skins have been updated with:
New skin for Robby BMW's Phoco
Skins for Mobile Emulator
Skin for Sirius
Improved MiniLyrics skin
Browse by art skins
Maybe a few other things that I don't remember right now.

Updated 2/20/2006
Map Monkey skins added

Updated 2/17/2006
Alpine (Green) and Alpine (Green-S) added
Rainlendar calendar skins added
Alpine (Blue) and Alpine (Blue-S) updated.
Alpine (Red) and Alpine (Red-S) updated.
You should delete your old skin before adding these, there are some unused files in the old skins.

I have made some changes to the Green, Blue and Red skins and Amber will be changed to match. There's a second main menu now, clicking the more button will take you to it. There are other changes, detailed in the Read Me inside the zip, please read it.

Alpine (Amber)

Alpine (Blue)

Alpine (Blue-Red)

Alpine (Green)

Alpine (Red)

The calendar zip files contain the program, already configured and all Alpine color skins. Put the Rainlendar-0.22 folder in "C:\Program Files\Road Runner".

848x480 Calendar

800x600 Calendar

Map Mokey Skins
Alpine (Blue)

Great! How about on-press-change functionality, GPS and dimm button in music screen?

Oh, forgot. Would be great if you could add music/video scroll in line above all functions for video and music.

guino will become famous soon enoughguino will become famous soon enough
Forgot to say, the last release has support for the Video Slider so you may just want to copy the same slider from the audio player and change the code from "songpos" to "videopos" .. it should work

I plan on doing all the colors, but I'm not going to until guino slows down.

You could use the other images, but I dont think the blue skin would look good with amber text.

Hi more mods,

I was installing the Amber skin and the notation of the font size (17.5) in your *.skin files is somewhat incompatible with some systems out there (mine )
It results in displaying the lcd2 font size 175. I changed everything to 18 and it works ok.

hey sorry I'm new! I love the look of the amber! Anyway it will be updated for road runner?

A phone button and phone tools type screen would be killer as well for bluetooth integration.

tv test

Anyone want to try a tv skin out? I never got my tv card to work with winamp so I cant test. This is just the tv skin, so if you use it with my Alpine skin you will need to edit on of the main menu buttons to launch it (there's no tv button). Also it's 848x480 not 800x 600.

Here's a link TV skin

Guino, if you are feeling up to it I added a scan button/indicator and the temp. button, if it will help you with adding these functions.

I hope you get well soon.

hey once again tyte skin! matches my brick interior prefect. Just wondering, is it possible to light up the silver buttons at the bottom of the menu screen when you mouse over them? I don't have a touchscreen and it's hard to see when I have them selected...

Also, is phonecontrol support coming?

THANKS!

One thing at a time. Did you try the TV skin? If so did it work correctly, would you post a screen shot?
