Stoo, like I said in the fd thread: amazing...

have you given thought, however, to making this all a RR skin, and getting labels from FD sdk, and then you can have a "small mode" just by loading another skin in RR, I believe it will resize the FD window according to the new skin when you change skins (basically, 2 skins, loading FD (same path) and with different sizes for the app)... also would require a clean FD skin which shows only the map

I would love the carbon fibre with green layout.. with the green bubble effect key like you have on the wood effect above.. now that would look great in my st220 :-) btw re msn message.. I think you can do multi-commands in RR, so you could have a button that sets RR's night skin and at the same time send the message to freedrive to change its night skin too :-) cant wait for the release.. let me know if u need anything coding in.

Yep, I'll probably bug you at some point for some coding assistance - I'm pretty au fait with skinning in general (i.e. CONSOLE for Frodoplayer) but would appreciate help with FD elements

Just to save me posting loads of pics, the PSD files which will be released with this skin will contain pretty much every car manufacturer logo and every page will be available in 4 texture and 4 accent colours.

That's why this skin is taking so long to make, cos I'm doing 4x the work!

I'm not sure that doing the FD application as a RR skin would be a good idea, as FD is run under 'external GPS'. I think Iguidance users wouldn't be too happy with FD labels all over the place!

I may come back to this at a later date but for now I'm going to crack on with the rest of the skin
