Well, the only way to have it fade is to change the "Front" and "Rear" volume on some EPIA's or somehow sendkeys to an embedded soundcard mixer. Nevertheless, the balance works like a charm... It has 20 different positions -10 (full left) to 10 (full right). You can press on a seat for quick changes or fine tune it with the arrows.

Is it easy for me to change the blue to green in your skin?

Just open the Background.jpg in photoshop, select the blue area, hit "Ctrl,U" and change the hue to between -130 and -90.

Here's a draft of the second half of the eclipse EQ... It's in flash at the moment until I can get the transparent sliders in there.

Dinasty this is looking superb! Because you asked, I would say my biggest concern is too much of the screen being taken up so GPS apps are embedded in a small area.

I wondered if it was possible for embedding the likes of GPS to have hiding tool bars? For example like on a linux desktop. Click the arrow to hide toolbar and it slides off to the side of the screen with a small icon to make it return when you want it?

Or similar to this?

Just a thought and I have no idea if its possible!

The problem is that you can't have flash show over application windows and viceversa. It would be possible to have a hiding tool bar that automatically calls a full-screen GPS skin. In other words, when you hide the menu, there would be a screen flicker and window resize that would have to occur.

I understand, personally a window resize wouldnt bother me too much. I do *love* Irunner, dont get me wrong and I love what you have done I just prefer a skin that lets me actually see my GPS without having to get up close.

It was just my euro 2 cents worth

Thanks a lot, didn't know it was that easy! Works like a charm.

question about your update, will there be control buttons for volume and song on all the screens?

Keep up the good work

I was hoping you wouldn't ask that It's nearly impossible to do it without flash MX, swish and the button images. Since I'm updating things anyways, It would be pretty easy for me to do a green version. Just let me know what hue you ended up using or send me a color-code/sample of the green your looking for. -din

Hey DInasTy, CDR has done swf files in the past that would read settings such font, text, color etc from a .txt file ... maybe you want to ask him about it.. this could solve the issues of customizing color/text for everybody (specially you)...

You can always copy the extra screens from other skins.. of course, it looks nicer with matching screens but it works.

Thats what i would suggest as well, loading variables from a txt file you can make custimizing a flash skin easy but the flip side is it is alot more work for the developer in the begining.

I have only been trying out RR for a couple of days (using ME before) and one of the things that sold me on it is the flash support and the speed ( oxymoron???) but really you can make flash run fast if you design it well.

I have been using flash since version 2 and will start on my own flash skin soon, just want to get a real handle on RR first.

DInasTy you have done an awsome job on this skin so far and it will only get better, I think flash skins will take over normal skinning in looks/functions/ability for the average person to customise more, of course there will be the annoying ones as well but you can always choose to install them or not
