Hi guys,
a while ago I started creating a Skin inspired by the BMW I-driive...
I think within the next days it will be ready for a beta test... and I think in about 2 weeks first version will be avalible!
Version 1 will include:
-Menu
-Entertainment
->Audio
->Video
->DVD
->Radio
-GPS
->Destinator
->External GPS
-Car Data
->Car PC Status
-Communication
->PhoCo
-External Applications
-Settings
->RRConfig
->Appearance
-->Skin Browser
-->Gamma
->Mixer
->Equalizer
If you want to beata test the skin, just send me a PM and I'll send you the DL-Link within the next days....and as I said for the rest of the world it will be avalible in about 2 weeks!
Here are some preview pics:

Can I suggest a "empty" skin to embed apps, so we can put, for example, an OBD software embeded in the Car Info section...
Also, I would remove the Exit button to inside Settings menu... I dont think most people want to "exit" the frontend very often, mostly to copy files and stuff, so maybe we can hide it a bit further?
Also, how are you planning on making the GPS screen? I'm very interested since the screen for GPS on iDrive is pretty cool, fromwhat I recall it is kind of "split screen" with the buttons on one side, and the map on the other. I would suggest you mak it that way, with an option for going "full screen", like Zots did on his skin with iGuidance, and I made a freedrive patch to control FreeDrive instead of iGuidance. it is pretty cool cause you can have a "menu view" and a "full view"

I need the Exit Button often ...Always to hibernate the pc....
GPS is already finished very similar to what you suggested.... Working on this skin since several weeks from time to time so its almost finished exept a few screens...This two pics are not all thats finished but just a preview of the layout!
