Hey Chuck - I love the skin. First one to not force me into having stuff I dont want but still has TONS of features...

I just installed it and setup the buttons: Play / MP3s / Nav / Gas ...

When I am in MP3 screen and I click MP3 again, it opens Iguidance in the playlist (only where the songs are listed).

Also I am having problems with the music and winamp. When the song is over and it automatically changes to the next song, the playlist wont refresh. Because of this, if I hit Play /Pause, it goes back to the old song and restarts it. I am using winamp 2.95. It will refresh to current song if i change screens and go back)

I keep getting the winamp to pop infront of the front end as well. The box is checked to hide winamp.

I found a typo: Delete File in the playlist editing screen is spelled wrong ('Delet') Also in Install Setep Step 2: Click here to regsvr32 This Custon. Did you mean to say 'this custon'?

The quit menu doesnt let me exit RR.

One last thing - Can you have a 'Next Song' insert-able in the buttons on the bottom? I like to stay in nav and still have ability to change songs without going back to MP3 or using those tiny buttons on the bottom right. I can't easily reach them because I drive a manual.

Thank you!

Thanks

1: the second press of the mp3 is on purpose so you can see gps and still control the music.
Did you try pressing GPS a second time?

2: add this to the rr.ini and see if that helps - listfollowssong=true
And maybe this - singleclickaudio=true

3: make sure you have the classic skin chosen in winamp settings.

4: thanks I will fix it

5: try this new ExecTBL.ini file and see if it works for the exit – I changed it to quit instead of exit.
Or add this to the rr.ini file - exitmode=0

6: you could go to the other setup and under track display button and change the custom to next, then just touch the track name to go to next track.
Or you could mod the ExecTBL.ini file in chucks folder under section 28, 30, 31 and change one of the existing commands.

28 Main Bottom Buttons-Commands to Start Apps
30 Main Bottom Button Labels
31 Main Bottom Button Menu Labels

Just change the same menu number

Sample from
----11----
<<NoteDraw<<

----11---
<<=Note<<

----11---
<<=Note Pad<<

to this

----11----
<<NEXT<<

----11---
<<=Next<<

----11---
<<=Next Song<<

If you have trouble with this just let me know and I will do it for you.

Damn you are good Chuck.

1: Very sweet now that I see its function. Pressing Nav twice just switches between mp3 screen and full screen nav.

2: List following was already true. I added single click audio and it fixed the problem. Thanks a whole bunch. That was buggin me about my last skin.

3: It doesnt bug me enough. With the 2.95 download it only has the skin <Base Skin>.

4: Welcome.

5: I changed it to exit mode 0 and quit makes it leave the program with no option of hibernate or shutdown. Thats fine with me. My power button acts as hibernate.

6: It was under Display not Other Setup. And I changed it to next for the artist button. Again - very cool.

New: Everything (chucks top and gauges) is displayed in KM/H. I have the setting right in configs. There is an option in your skins.ini file that mentions mphkph = 0. I changed it to 1 and still kmh is displayed. Changed it to 2 and kmh is still displayed.

You are the man Chuck. Very very sweet skin ya got here. Thank you very much.

That worked.. Now, how do I get it to show my speed? Do I need to use Xport to split the GPS signal? I dunno how all that works. All I saw was post 52.

Thanks!

I'm having problems downloading the skin. Is there a problem with the download page or am I missing something?

Got it now thanks. Word of caution. I couldn't download this using Mozilla Firefox. Ended up having to use IE.

Hope that helps

awesome stuff

Chuck,

This is very cool but I can't seem to get the main screen setup correctly with the multiple apps in the different sections of the skin.

Also, how do I modify the buttons to include some custom applications?

Sorry for all the stupid questions, maybe there is a help file somewhere?

Go to button setup menu
Click Turn button edit on at the top
Pick witch set of presets you want to change on the right
Select witch bottom button you want to change
Pick application from the list
Then save the preset your working on

I do not have a prevision for custom app in the bottom buttons.

You can do that with ExecTBL.ini file .
all other links are dead - everything you need is in post #1.
