This is just my opinion but I don't find icons alone as labels intuitive at all. You have to make a guess what it means, especially if you're a new user to the skin. I'd rather have Text or Text+Icon for labels.

 beta, open RR-Skin Editor
People can use this skin and take it futher. This skin is different in that I centered it around visualizations. Most skins don't use them like I do. The buttons let you Start Visualization, Next Visu,Lock Current Visu. I really like the visualizations dancin to the music looks cool in the car. Another thing different is that the skin is centered around playing music which is the main point of the car computer. I didn't want a main menu then play music... So I made it so the audio player was the main window and you click everything else if you want it.

I'm gonna grab this skin and take a look at it and see how you got the visualization to work on the Menu screen. I didn't have much luck with it when I was modifying zots.day.
Derek
PS. I perfer the use of the visualizations too and like your concept of having the music interface on the Main Menu.

ya most people don't like them but I really wanted that as a main feature and not some small little box of it.

looking good....I agree on the visualization thing. I also like to see it moving around while I drive. I've been planning on making a skin but haven't had enough time or idas to start. This would be a good starting point, since it is already mustang oriented. Thanks!!

you make any changes to the skin? (such as XM/Sirius implementation, GPS, custom applications?)
I've been using it ever since I posted in this thread, this skin is incredible!
