jthiani's 1st skin ( Opinions needed )

I started this skin as a land rover skin then it evolved !!!! So now i want to make a few different color versions for release and here are some of the ones ive come up with. Opinions please.

Its not bad as a start.... I cant say I dig the font for driving-reading....

Some icons could be changed I think... I'm not sure what icons I'd put, but DVD, XM, Web, Phone are all "different looking styles".... some are 3d, others are 2d, some are solid colors, others are "dithered" colors, and so forth...

I like the wood finish, but i'd do it a bit darker to match the RR wood

Looks good so far. I think it just needs a little more work, focus more on the details like roy said about the icons.

quick question, what visulization are you using in post #10?

Yeah, I wonder about the different vis.... its AVS? Is there a way to cycle through visualizations from within RR (like a skin button???) sorry for thread jacking jthiani!

Well, it's certainly different.


The first screenshot I was thinking yeuk, kiddie stylii, but the other screens seem to make it work.

Some of the icons seem nice and fresh, but as said above they seem to be a mix of styles, best get one style and stick to it.
