BTW, since you use iGuidance, are you creating a skin specifically for iguidance that will have more related controls/buttons? Just curious.

defsquad, I'm not using iGuidance. (I don't even have a carpc right now but that's another story.) All my iGuidance skins are based on other skins. If you guys want, I can create another iGuidance full screen skin with another set of buttons on the right but you're resposible for the .skin definition file.

Gotcha! Anyway, yeah I agree, if you can give b8bboi a license so he can get that PC.net skin working 100%, that'd be rad.

Zorro, that would be great! Could I have it, please? I already have an SE S710a. Just need to get it unlocked so I could use it with my t-mobile service. BTW, do you even need a real phone to test Phoco?

No problem. Mail me your contact data to phoco at phoco dot net (I hate spammer) and you'll get it.

Yes, you need a real phone for testing or at least something that pretends to be a phone and gives the right answers.

Ohh damn, figured out my own problem. It has nothing to do with this skin at all. I just used skinBedder to fix the fields (what a life saving little app). Hope I didn't thread jack because I'm simply un-gifted today.

I've been trying to get the RR brushed metal mappoint skin to work with the this CF proximo style skin and I'm running into a bit of trouble.

This CF skin is 800 * 480 (originally) the Brushed Metal mappoint skin is 800 * 600, my screen res is 800 * 600.

in general.ini I've got:

Code:

OriginalWidth=800
OriginalHeight=480
ShowWidth=800
ShowHeight=600

This makes CF skin fit full screen with my current screen res. The BM mappoint skin opens and everything displays correctly EXCEPT the screen that allows you to add points, which is the most important part of course. See screenshots. I've reduced the size of the 800 * 600 BM skin to 800 * 640 however its producing the same results. Grr. Anyone got any suggestions ??

Hate to bring the thread back to life to ask this, but, I'm gonna ask anyway because I'm selfish

Any other development on this skin? I have a few bugs, items I can tell you about to hopefully get you going back on the skin.

Bugs initially:
Searching: The searched item results playlist is never created
Phonecontrol: No buttons for choosing which phone number for a single record to call (in sony ericsson phones the phone book stores numbers by putting all numbers under one entry, so under Defsquad you'd have 3 phone numbers -work, home, mobile).
Text Label for Online or Offline only shows up when you press the DVD button from "Menu"
Applications I have all of my applications setup correctly in the LAUNCH folder, but they are not showing up in the Applications listing. THey show up fine under another coulple of skins I use.

There are a couple of other items, but I can't think of them right now. All in all this is by far my favorite skin. I hope it's development continues

Text Label:
The "online" indicator works for me. I'm not sure what happens there. Can someone else confirm whether it works or not?

Applications:
This also works fine for me. Again, can someone else confirm if it works for them?
