Does anyone else using this skin with XM have the sat reception bar/meter not located properly? It seems to be too low. Also, resuming from standby to XM (last screen/thing listened to) doesn't seem to work properly, have to go out then back in. This may not be a skin problem, though.

This is a known issue if you have a XMPCR instead of the XMD1000 ... sometimes also if you have a crappy/cheap USB->Serial Adapter for the XMD.

I'm running the skin at 800x600 and the "sat" bar is too high and the "Ter" bar is too low.
I'm using the XMPCR for XM. The only problem I've noticed regarding hibernation is that in order to get music to play I must start in the mode that was playing when I hibernated. In other words, if I was in XM when I hibernated I must start music playing in XM before I can hear mp3s. The reverse is also true. It's a minor issue which I can certainly live with.

Hark, I haven't tested the XM skin since I don't have the hardware. You can use SkinEditor to rearrange the components and maybe post back the fix here and I'll update it. Thanks.

I'll try - I'm very new at this, but maybe this is the push I need to learn more about it. Great work on the skin.

I have the XMD unit (the one that's free after rebate now!). I had WebDog make me a cable, it seems very high quality and works very well - not sure if this is to blame for my problem. I'll also search if there's a way to make RR "reload" the XM screen on standby resume, which I think would solve it.

This is definitely a solid skin/foundation to build on Hark for your learning.

Ha, I'm learning too. I didn't know anything about skinning until about 30 minutes ago. The Skineditor is crucial. Makes things understandable. Anyway, I have attached a modified XM skin that properly lines up the signal bars on my desktop running RR at 800x600. Now we'll see if it also works on my carputer. Let me know if it works for you.
Oops, when I tried on carputer the indicators were perfect, but everything else was messed up. I don't advise using the file. I'll work on it some more.

I have RR config set as external, with it pointing to igmod. I have the window name as --iGmod something--. I tried that and iGuidance with no change.

correct. That should embed the window into RR right? eliminating the title bar and allowing normal button fucntionality without sending the application to the rear?
edit - got it... typo

XM Signal Level Indicator Update:
The XM skin contained in the above XM.zip file does fix the locations of the XM signal strength indicators when viewing RR at 800x600 and 800x480. The XM problem I mentioned was not related to the edited skin, but to the fact that XM had inadvertantly cancelled my account. All's working fine now.
