b8bboi:
Ok, for the searching screen. After reading through Guino's FAQ for searching several times, when searching through your playlist it should produce a playlist that has those search results in it, but I'm not seeing any sort of playlist of the sort.
Applications, please see the image below. I have all of my applications to be launched in the "LAUNCH" folder under the Road Runner following Guino's howto for adding apps to the launcher.
Text Label for Online or Offline, please see the image below. When you press the DVD button the "online" or "offline" text appears underneath there.
Lastly, PhoneControl.Net. Thanks for taking a look at that.
Good luck and let me know if I can help with anything.

Search:
I still don't know what's supposed to happen. It does work for me. I click Search (the magnifying glass button). OSK comes up. I enter a keyword and the next song with that keyword is highlighted.
I don't have a "Searchfiles" button on the Audio Browser skin so maybe that's what you're talking about? Could you try another skin and see if it works?
Online Indicator:
It works for me at 800x480 but when I stretch it out to 800x600, it disappears under the frame like you described above. This is probably a RR bug. Right now, I'm don't know how to fix it. Maybe we can alert guino so he can fix this in the next version.
Applications:
I really don't know what happens there. It works fine for me. Try this and see what happens.
Make a back up of launch.skin in CFX.
Copy launch.skin from BMV2 to CFX, overriding the one that's there.
Restart RR and go back to Apps and see if the App List comes up for you. (it will appear where it's defined in the BMV2 skin.)

No problem. I think SearchFiles is what you were talking about. I'll be adding that in the next version.

b8bboi, I tried doing the applications skin "launch.skin" switch and they are still not showing up at all even in another skin. Am I correct by putting individual folders in c:\program files\road runner\launch ? and then having their respective *.ini files, so for example c:\program files\road runner\launch\WIMGPS and inside of that i have WIMGPS.ini and inside of that ini file i have:
PATH=c:\program files\WIMGPS\WIMGPS.exe
WindowSearchString=WhereIsMyGPS.net
I have that along with several other common applications to run. Is this correct?

This is my Launch folder.
C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Launch
--
Calc
Notepad
Then in Calc I have
Calc.ini
Calc.jpg
Calc.ini
------
[GENERAL]
PATH = C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe
TryEmbeddedTimeOut = 5
WindowSearchString=calc
(Same for Notepad)
You should try those 2 first. If it works, add WIMGPW.

b8bboi,
would you mind posting a screenshot of your application screen. also what system are you running that allows 800x480? I have an Asus Pundit-R and would love to use the onboard ATI RS300 card to hook up the native xenarc/lilliput res.
thanks again for your help.

See attachment.
I don't have a carpc yet. Still waiting for my dell laptop to arrive. You should get a graphic card that supports 800x480. The difference is huge. Text and everything is so much clearer at the native resolution.

well wtf, yeah and your online indicator is right there too. i'm completely baffled as to why the stuf fin my launch folder isn't showing up
is there anything else that should be in rr.ini for that, or in the exectbl.ini??
in regards to the native res. i actgually bought this pundit box because it has an onboard ati video card and i use an ati card in my home box and i love it. it has super awesome resolution tweaking. just haven't been able to get it to hit 800x480, however i'm about to purchase powerstrip and give that a go; well, purchase it if it works.

check rr.ini. make sure your launchpath points to the correct folder. this is mine.
launchpath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Launch\
As for the online indicator, like I said it only works at the original resolution of 800x480. We can ask guino to look into this.

Bah! I suck.. my spelling was off, I had C:\Progarm Files instead of C:\Program Files.
Thanks man. Now we're really just down to either me getting 800x480 working or Guino does something about that.
Woot. Now if I can just get a few more items situated, when my new cable arrives from opus i'm good to go!

Minor Update
Added choose_dial_number skin for Phoco
Added "Search Files" (replacing the Cancel button) in audio browser .
Arrow Up and Arrow Down buttons in audio browser now jump 1 page instead of one entry.
You can re-download from the links in the first post.

I think my first RR themed skin for my iGmod project will be for this skin
