just add your path as above, by default is should goto your default music path but at the moment it doesnt, i'm sure he will fix this in the next release :-)

Hi CdR,
Sorry to bother you again - I edited audio_browser1.skin as instructed (actually if you need a laugh - I initially typed path\to\music in instead of the path ). This is what I am getting:
Album directory
When I click on artist in artist directory
Is this just a problem I am having or do I just have to wait for an RR upgrade? Thanks!!

My wife is from Portugal , so I know there are some people from that other part of the world, or so she tells me but I have not seen any real proof!
the psd for the audio was released in the mc1.0 thread, about page 4 or after I think..

I have jpg's in all my album folders(unhidden). They show beautifully in your audio browser and menu.
I just want to be sure I understand you correctly. Are you saying that when you list albums in audio browser album art mode the art is not supposed to show?(see my pic 1) That the album art only shows when you open "artist" and show albums for that artist?
Also when I open "artist" it doesn't show the album art for the first album. But if I click on another album the art for the first album will show up but the art for the selected album will not. (see my pic 2 & 3 above 1995.311 art shows after I select 1999.soundsystem).
Sorry if I am just missing something - I am so excited about this skin I just want to get it working up to the fullest capability that you have designed in!

CdR, just been out for a drive to test out the new additions and its mostly working great. Fantastic job mate, I like the GPS stuff on the menu screen. I do have a few questions though.
Is it possible to globally change the font colour of labels (track info and time) in the skin editor without having to edit each screen?
I'm running WinAmp 5.08 but when I click on the vis button the visualisation is really ****s about. Sometimes it will show up where the playlists is (how it is supposed to be I guess), other times it will flash between the playlist and vis or the vis will stay in place and the audio player screen flashes on and off around it. Got any ideas? Which version of WinAmp works best with RR?
Last question. I was buggering around with PS to try my hand (1st attempt) at changing the audio PSD into a DVD screen. I've got a trial version of Photoshop CS 2 but the fonts used for the buttons were not available. Which font did you use?
Cheers and thanks for the new stuff. Looking forward to the other bits you and Gareth are working on.

Awesome! I have a couple of requests, but those been covered (and addressed) in previous posts -- phone control and direct DVD control. It'd be cool to have a Weather screen like that used in LS3.0 (ooh, and with a background that changes based on the weather conditions -- rainy background if it's raining, etc). Regardless, it's the best skin I've used to date (no offense to the other hard-working skin writers!).

RoyN: but I wanted a more "extensive" search option...to search in all directories, like the one FP has! but I don't think that's possible without some code work by guino...

Hey, awesome skin CdR! Two things,
First, can you please make a Hyundai logo?
Two, how about a skin for Mobile Emulator? Was gonna attempt to make one myself, but for some reason, my Photoshop won't open up the PDF you provided. Must be cause its an old version, 6.0.

Got it sorted. Had to uninstall, tried different versions of Winamp and settled for version 2.95 as thats the only one I didn't have probs with
Someone out there must know if it is possible to globally change the font colour of labels (track info and time) in the skin editor without having to edit each screen?

edit each screen is the only way.. but load it into notepad.. ( I used easyedit ) and do a find and replace all.. so you just edit the colour white (255,255,255 ) and replace it with a colour you do want like green ( 000,255,000 ) theres only about 10 .skins to do, so will only take 5 mins..
:-)
as for font its Tw Cen MT Condensed
