Good I'm glad you did this. I'm more of an old fashioned guy when it comes to skins.

pRoFiT, some bugs:
-Problem opening skin folder placed on desktop.
Run time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument
-Problem using "descriptive" object names instead of numbers, like "JAlbumArt", "LTrackName" or "BPlay". Those names are valid ones for RR.
Run-time error '9': Suscript out of range
Thanks for your great work.

Run-time error 13
When using RRSkinEditor I will receive a Run-time error 13 Type mismatch for a (Y) slider entry.

Whoa. I need to get back on this project ... Y slider.......I thought I fixed that in the last version.......What version are you using? May be your objects file. Check the objects.txt file. I'm not sure if it had to do with the non drawable objects. Try redownloading the program again. I thought i had that error fixed months ago, but its been months since ive worked on it so maybe it is still a bug. Also try removing the number from it just use Y and not Y01. Hope this helps.
And to everyone else sorry for not releasing any updates. Been busy and i hate working on my home computer with my 15 inch monitor. Still haven't got a new 21 inch. I just havn't been motivated to work on it.

Profit, I understand how that goes. I've been unwilling to work on my skin for a lot of the same reasons.. no motivation, etc.
Keep it up for the good of the community.

Well if you ever do get motivated hehe I would like to ask if you could ad the ability to double click on something in the "Code>Object Parameters" window to accept it instead of clicking the item then clicking done. This would speed things up a bit by saving alot of clicks. Other than that thanks for all your hard work this makes my work alot easier. And one last thing how up to date is the source linked in the first post I would like to get it if it is not too old.

Yeah that is the most annoying thing about the editor. I'd love to see that fixed Empty lines between rows of buttons and such, which I use to sort of group the buttons in the skin file, are always disappearing on me.

Yah, I would like to know that too.
Um about that. yah.....I just got my 21 inch screen. So now i can see what im doing again on my pc. The 14.5 inch I pulled from the closet when my old 21 went out was terrible to work on. I may pick back up where i left off on this project.
The comments.......i may have to redesign the whole reading of files. Major code change. currently it ignores all comments. except the discardable line. i dont really have the resources available to work on that much of a change right now. Little bugs yes but major redesigns.....hmmm. not sure if i can take it on.
Let me see what i can do. It will probably be a couple weeks. i will be in disneyland next weekend. so i dont have alot of home time to work on it.

See the real problem is if you start moving the order of objects around then comments wont be above or next to the command like it was if you "hand created it". Which if i had the virtual editor part keep comments you could move them in that section.
OR.......I could create objects called coments. And treat them like any other none drawable object. In fact if you opened up the.........woops never mind. i was going to say you could just add / to the list of commands and i wouldn't have to change any code to use the comments. Let me think some more and i will get an easy solution.

I have a bug i was hoping some1 could explain to me or fix,
When i try to delete some objects using the editor (in the example below i deleted Y01 which is for the signal slider in Phoco) i get Runtime error 13 "type mismatch" and then it crashes.
When it crashes i lose all the previous changes for that session cos it wont let me save before it exits.
Sorry about the quality of the pic there's something screwy with my PSP screen capture thingy.

Download the latest version. I think that error is fixed. You will get that error if the object has words instead of numbers ie BMute would crash but B01 is okay.
The error your getting is because Y01 does not have a location on te screen. And the software is looking for a location when you move the mouse to check......nevermind its late. Download latest version and let me know if that fixed it.

I had the same error also with the new version, and looking the skin file with notepad i have found some decimal values in the coordinates of some buttons or other commands (dont remember at the moment) causing the issue.
I have resolved that modifying by hand...

First off I'm a total noob.
I haven't even started to make a skin yet, though I know I have to. Is it possible to put a comment at the end of a line?
If so, put the comment there.
Or create some sort of reference number, and then use an external comment sheet that places comments back in after the fact?
