ok.. shoot me for not reading all the tread.. or trying the alpha, from the screenshot you posted it looks great. An idea I had as soon as I looked at it was why not have tabs.. like design and code, bit like frontpage does.. so you can just tab between em, this way you get around having to refresh both sides when and anything is altered and the refresh could take place when the side comes in focus (tab is pressed) you would gain the whole screen for each view then if you know what I mean.

keep it up fella

You would have tabs at the bottom of the screen and one is drag and drop editor next tab is source code text editor and the last tab is a preview mode. Maybe a link to RR that would run it with the current skin. or I embed RR into the skineditor. i dont know just rambling.... feedback on alpha

I've found that if you have a properties box open, RRSE doesn't appear in the alt-tab list. Just don't have the edit box open & you'll be fine.

profit, maybe something for the next release? Not required, just a "nice to have".

I just can't get over that I can move things with the mouse now. That's wicked awesome.

I know, for skinners, that's the single greatest improvement ever

Come on cdrskull thats exactly what I said...and sort of done it that way. Instead of tab you just select the screen you want to be in from the menu.

Yah I just checked the alt+tab function. I will have to look deeper into it, it seems all dialog boxes will cause that to happen.

but did anyone see that it auto highlights

OH, The auto highlight feature is sooo nice. Thank you. This program has come so far! Keep up the good work. I'm fine with the way the switching happens.

I'm not getting auto update to work, if i make a change to virtual then click rrskineditor the change cancels.

You have to go into settings and set the auto update checkbox. That way you can have it both ways auto or not auto

omg, blasphemy, frontpage rocks? do you realize baby kittens were just killed because of that statement? no my good man across the pond, frontpage does not rock. no self respecting web developer/designer or software developer/designer uses or would use frontpage. in fact dreamweaver isn't that much better. You should be writing straight code anyway! For shame!!!

DISCLAIMER: even though I hate frontpage and all gui apps for writing xhtml, css, etc; it doesn't mean I hate rrskineditor
