I'm not sure if this has been requested or been update on th RR Editor, but I love to see more commands or codes such as Clip"C" and others that are not available on the pop-up menu to be added.

Sweet. I think i can implement and undo redo with out to much head banging. I'm just going to borrow someone else's text editor code and then just capture all changes. Should be easy . But yah i thought the option to turn on or off the auto update is good too.

Blue_zx3: /DISCARDABLE is working now i need to do some more checks but will try to release it tonight sometime. I forgot about that one. I was going to fix it a couple weeks ago and got side tracked with a personal project. Anyways should have new link up tonight. In fact i dont think i checked to see what happens when you switch skins from the skin menu.

Gobby thanks. I was thinking about embedding RR into another side form within RRSkinEditor. Im kinda worried about what would happen if someone was using 800x600 on there system while using the editor and RR embeded. Might not be enough room to see RR. Maybe ill just do what you said and have a button that refreshes Road Runner. I will have to play with it and see what i can get to work.

Thanks everyone.

Latest version should have clip as an option. I updated the objects.txt file to match Guinos lastes RR release. About two weeks back.

Okay another update. Havn't had time with the undo/redo feature but I will get there. I did have time to fix /DISCARDABLE. Currently the editor disregards all / comments which is what /DISCARDABLE looked like. So I fixed that. I would really like to go back and have it save all /comments Because someone put them there for a reason it should really put them back when saving.

Anyways here is alpha V0.3.016

http://home.comcast.net/~cstrachn/RRSkinEditorAlpha.rar

I guess I shouldn't call it alpha. Alpha is normally not subject to outside testing. Next version i will switch to beta with undo redo hopefully and some kind of properties box.

Could always have a floating button that swaps shows/hides each one, just an idea.

I get an error 13, type mismatch, on some skins, such as the new Cranium skin, what does this mean?

Sweet, I'll get to testing the new vers out. Ha, I wondered why you were calling the Public testing versions alpha - I thought it was just your little way of sticking it to the man.

You should see the way my work does it. We build like 120 alpha systems then pass them off as betas at a later date then the beta turns into launch and off we go.

ya i too ran into that type mismatch, like just as i had finished fixing one whole screen...

so i just save freq....

I think that I has some thing to do with skin commands that it doesn't understand...like i was fixing a phone screen and tried to move the phone list which goes by "P" i think and thats when one of the errors happened...I could be wrong though

Yup, the golden rule of beta testing is to save after every change.

Hmm I will have to look at that when I get home. I dont see why an object would cause a crash. Although y will cause a crash if it has y01 or yNN. I will probably fix that bug next. May be the same with P. If anyone wants to check try with p01 and with just p. I will see what i can do guys.

Blue and def, if you crashed on a phoco skin, I bet it was your Batter strength or signal strenth slider that crashed - Y01

Mine seems to be P01 (P01 is the phone number list box) in the phoco skin i'm creating. when you double click the item in the list on the left all of the labels as to what to fill in come up as "???". When you have it selected (P01) and push an arrow key to move it, it gives the "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range" error. It then shuts down RRSkineditor (i'm using 0.3.017).
