I can't see how it makes any sense that it is only that skin when the menu.skin screen has nothing but basic objects.

I'm shooting in the dark here, but you've got the "headache" font installed properly, correct>?

White like its shown in post 104. Looks grey to me. I think it pulls the color scheme from windows. I could just change it to the color grey instead of following the windows color scheme. Or if you want I can create a RRSkinEditor general settings area with color settings and such.
Oh sorry for this weekend, been busy. No time to work on the editor yet. I will try on sunday

Profit, can you add scroll bars to the object dialog boxers when they are resized to allow access to all the controls? For instance, if I try to edit the font size of a label while in my car, I open RReditor on my 7" screen, the dialogs do not fit. IF you resize them to fit on the screen, it crops off the section where the font size editing is done. Scroll bars would be great.

Here is a little FYI for anyone that gets a:
Run time error '9':
subscript of range
error... I have been modifing a skin and all of a sudden when I went to open the skin in the editor again I kept getting this error, so I did what anyone would do and try to open another skin and it opened with no problem. One thing that I noticed before I ok'ed the error window was that in the button list that one of the list item were hightlighted but was blank. So I went into the skin with notepad and tried to see where is blank line was...
I looked top to bottom to find something that was maybe missing the begining object info..ie..bxx cxx and didn't see anything that was out of place and for some reason I highlighted part the file, thats when I discovered that there was a line that only had a space in it instead of just being an empty line. Deleted the space and saved it, went to the editor and sure enough it opened with no errors....
Hopefully this info will help pRoFIT or anyone that might be getting this error message

Not sure if this has been asked before, if it is, my bad...
Anyways, would it be possible to make the the text labels (i.e" "=Volume") resize when you zoom in/out? Currently when you put a text label in at 100% zoom it looks good, but when you zoom in the text doesn't zoom in along with the skin. It's not a biggie, but it would be handy if the text zooms according to the skin.

Yah i had it spelt wrong when it checked to see if it was in the skin file also. I fixed that but forgot to change the apperance. My bad.
ShawJohn: I wish I could fix your problem. I know the flash playback is kind of messed up a little but not to the point of crashing the system. At least not when i play with flash. The buttons over may be using alot of system resources. But the specs you gave me before doesn't sound like that would be a problem for you.
It's been awhile but is it in all skins or just the one your making? Do you have the latest VB runtime files? Do you have the correct video card drivers? XP SP2? Plenty of memory? Do you have to turn of flash and button over to make it not crash or just button over? or just flash? It's just wierd that with all the bugs people have posted no one else has had the program lockup and crash over and over again like you. Didn't you say you tried it somewhere else and it crashed?

AFAIK its the latest version from here...
I don't know if it does it in other skins as I haven't tried any. It seems to lock up as soon as the frame borders are crossed with the mouse pointer. The whole PC locks up and even Task Manager will not respond. Only thing that works is a hard reset.
If I turn off mouse over effects its fine No Biggie really, its just annoying. Haven't really been modding any skins lately to find out more... If anything else relevant happens I'll let you know.
Yeah, I have tried it on both my home PC's and a works PC and they all behave the same. Its probably something to do with the VB installations on those PC's. I'll have to re-install when I get a chance to test.

pRoFiT,
Hey I never told you how great it is to have you working on this editor!!
I have a request to take out the flash support. It's nearly impossible to do flash skins with, although it is nice to see the flash for logo clocks and such... But full flash skins just cause too many problems. I can go into detail if needed. Thanks again for your hard work.

Dude, I am NOT picking on you, but I just think its hillarious when someone corrects someone's spelling and in the same exact statement makes an error of his/her own.
corresponding is the word you were looking for.
I'm just pointing it out for laughs. I am not one of those picky people.

poof, done.
Since the dawn of time, better known as when i started adding to this, There was aways a way of turning flash on/off. Okay you can turn off flash in the settings area of the program. I would show a screen shot but.....
.....First my 21 inch monitor crapped out on me then my computer started to reboot for no aparent reason. Possibly monitor blew out my video card which sucks. But i have like 3....no wait 4 computers up and running so i stole the crappy 14 inch off my video server. i dont normally have to look at it. Anyways my computers are punishing me for something and i havn't taken the time to transfer VB and the skineditor files over yet. So sorry for me and sorry to everybody for me not having any time to work on this program.
So thanks DiNASTY, hope this helped you. Maybe more flash support could be added to start and stop the flash from playing so like the first frame would show and stay. That way you could layout the flash better. Also I dont stretch the flash in the object box and im not sure how guino does it in RR. Guess I would play with RR a little more before i start messing with more flash.
p.s. DiNASTY: on the "flash skins cause too many problems" thing. Yah about that.....there maybe some minor issues with flash still. It was more of a added feature for layout and i kind of created some wierd bugs with it. Not sure where my problem is yet. I think im going to redo that whole section of code. For reference the first 20 objects can be flash after that they wont display at all. I just had a good idea to fix that.......also if you move the order of objects around flash gets really wierd. But it will save okay and open back up fine.
