I am new to RR, but have no idea where to start about editing the paths to the GPS software. Why can't it just use the path in the RR config?

And mousewheelinput, do I need to install that? At the moment it points to an exe in one of those folders. So its already bundled in?

I really want to get this skin going- but cld someone expand the install guide please.

Thanks for the skin and hope your christmas is going well.

i got a few min, so this is the quick ver.

you dont have to install Mouse Wheel Input, its only optional, the .exe that the button points to is a compiled script that invokes MWI.

As for the GPS, its configured in the ExecTBL.ini file so its easier for people to change. The reason not in RRconfig is because if you use more than one GPS screen (this skin has 3) then you have to call the full path to the app in your skin. plus there are other things going on thats not totaly standard.

If you are new to RR, this skin is not for the faint of heart, i tried to make the config as easy as possible, but RR in itself has a somewhat steep learning curve.

times up , gotta eat dinner.

There will be a full rundown on everything later.

Thanks liquid_smoke.

Love the skin.

One question someone might be able to help with, in regards to the skin's settings file.

What would the path to my GPS software be (Infomap Navigator 4)? The window name is "Navigator" and it is located C:\Program Files\Infomap Navigator\Navigator.exe

Cheers.

/path to GPS............................................... .........{ path to your gps application }{ window title}
"GPS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS.skin;RUN;C:\Program Files\Infomap Navigator\Navigator.exe"

/path to GPS, use "GPSFS2" as the code for the "FULL" button on EXTERNAL_GPS.skin if you want fullscreen with menu on bottom
"GPSFS2","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS2.skin;RUN;C:\Progra m Files\Infomap Navigator\Navigator.exe;Navigator"

/....................-path to GPS and EXITFS utility..........{ path to your gps application }{window title}
"GPSFS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS.skin;RUN;C:\Prog ram Files\Infomap Navigator\Navigator.exe;Navigator||RUN;LSTOOLS\SCR IPTS\EXIT_FS.exe"

Would the above be correct. I have Microsoft Autoroute and Navigator, but I assume I can only have one embedded, and then I'll have the other setup as an application.

Ty.

Cool I'll go try it now.

Thanks again for putting up with me while I learn- even though it must seem really obvious.

Learning loads atm, just built my first PC- first time using fiberglass and fillers to get it in the car- is going really well. Very happy with it.

This is very nice; just installed it and playing around with it. Will it be possible to put a car logo in the middle of the menu? I like that alot!

Does this support 800x480 or 800x600?

Double Letters with OSK

With the OSK, when i type a letter i am getting double letters as if i am hitting the key twice. If i press the .com button, on screen displays ..ccoomm. Is this a fault?

Cheers,

Steve

My date on the right is not showing all the way. I'm missing the month. I'm using short date format. Any thoughts?
