OK, I got it all set up exactly like I wanted (screenshot below). Now I am just wondering if I can get rid of the four remaining buttons on the left and replace them with track information based on what is currently playing from either my MP3 or XM radio. Any chance of this? thanks

honestly i cant remember if i made empty states for that screen, where you can remove the button and the graphic for it will be gone too.
I would take a look in the skins folder and see if there are any images that you could use for now that would suit that purpose.
I believe originaly the track info was right above this area?

My PS skills are sub par at best but I managed to make a few adjustments in the skin editor and then put an area for the track info to sho up where the buttons used to be. Not the prettiest thing but it will get the job done.

Video Menu Auto-Hide?

Perhaps Ive just overlooked something but how do you get the menu on the video screen to hide so that you can see the entire video while it is playing? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?

Thanks LS! Im new to this (obviously) and just getting my carputer together and playing with all the skins and front ends. So far I like yours the best! I'd like to be able to mute the winamp volume on any screen that I'm on so Ill probably do some minor skin editing but otherwise everything you have done is implemented well!

Again thanks for your hard work and quick response!

Ive cheked this setting and the menu still isnt 'autohiding' after the number of seconds I have selected. It is doing the same thing with the brushed metal skin so perhaps this is a roadrunner issue not related to your skin at all. Would you have any advice to troubleshoot this? The word "Full" seems to come up in green letters after the preset number of seconds - perhaps this is just coincidence, I dont know.

EDIT:
I found the answer to this after doing a bunch of searching:

http://mp3car.com/vbulletin/showpost...0&postcount=97

This patches the rr.exe to get it to work for anyone else that might have the autohide video problem.

J7MAN is an unknown quantity at this point
Sorry to drag up an old post but I've just installed this skin and set it to 800x600 but theres a white rectangle missing from the skin below the ATT and OPT buttons.

Any ideas?

download the current version of the skin from here

update your flash to fix the white box issue.
