yeah, looks like you missed the window title in the first one, "GPS"
The other two are only accessible from the initial gps screen

OK then - Added the window name (sorry I missed this - I'm still new to all this!) but this still doesn't work ... (it might be worth mentioning that I've tried several skins and none take to embedding this app very well)

Any other ideas?

Hi liquid_smoke
LSX is the Best RR Skin that i have seen. I use it on my Car and it works fine.
Is it possible to download the PSD File for the MENU2.skin ?
I need only Musik,Video,NAV,and Phone Icons on this Screen. And want to change the Icons NET and Game with Icons for Calculator and Notepad.
This would be very helpfull.

ill see if i can find the psd file for that menu, i may have to recreate it.

im having a play with this skin and using the mouse wheel imput config in ur zip..

is anyone using this having truble pressing any buttons in RR when the mouseinput program is opened??

no buttons at all work when its open.. ??

been tring to get freedrive working

i think i did alright sofar
i made a nme gps.skin

replace the one in the skin folder with this one..

and then edit the ExecTBL file in the skin folder and put some "/"'s infrom of the igidance lines

eg

/path to GPS............................................... .........{ path to your gps application }{ window title}
/"GPS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS.skin;RUN;LSTOOLS\SB2.9\SK INbedder.exe;SKINbedder"

/path to GPS, use "GPSFS2" as the code for the "FULL" button on EXTERNAL_GPS.skin if you want fullscreen with menu on bottom
/"GPSFS2","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS2.skin;RUN;LSTOOLS\S B2.9\SKINbedder.exe;SKINbedder"

/....................-path to GPS and EXITFS utility..........{ path to your gps application }{window title}
/"GPSFS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS.skin;RUN;LSTOOLS\SB2 .9\SKINbedder.exe;SKINbedder||RUN;LSTOOLS\SCRIPTS\ EXIT_FS.exe"

Do you have the LSTOOLS folder in the proper location?
when you click any of the MWI buttons inside the skin, RR tries to load this file
LSTOOLS\SCRIPTS\MMB.exe
if it can not find the file, RR will stop responding to mouse clicks (known bug in RR)
To test this out, located the file above and run it (while you have MWI open).
If it works then there is something wrong with your paths.

Just discovered....

When i launch iGuidance with SKINbedder after an MSOffice application, the following message appears......

Any ideas???

hum, thats very odd. It looks like its trying to find iGuidance inside your OFFICE install dir. Half the error message is in another language too. I would double, tripple check all your paths. Does this happen if you launch skinbedder standlone (not using RR)

speaking of odd problems, here's one for ya:

If I cold boot and run RR everything comes up fine. If I launch iGuidance it does embed correctly. So I exit iGuidance and come back in and it is fine. Coupled with this I loose my touchscreen functionality. (mouse still works). If I hibernate and come back in everything is fine. Touchscreen works fine and if I launch iguidance it comes up perfect. This is consistently epeatable on cold boots.

Any ideas?

Can you post the contents of both of your ExecTBL.ini files. The one inside the skin folder and also the one inside the root of RR.

Translation of the other half error message : Unable to find the path specified.

IN RR : If i don't launch office before, all is right, 100% OK
OUT RR : If i launch office before, all is right, no error messages...
May be a problem induced by RR?
