May be a problem induced by RR?

thats is very odd. The first thing i would check if i got a similar error message. Look at the ExecTBL.ini file and check the GPS paths and make sure none of them are weird. Look at RRConfig.exe and check GPS section and make sure all paths are correct. Also make sure your window names are correct.
what program is creating that error box?

I have office installed also, basicly in the same path as you but in english. I cant think of any other reason why this would happen other than a bad path being called somewhere.

how do you have your GPS setup, are you using IG? also, you can post your ExecTBL.ini file and RR.ini files, ill take a look at them and see if anything is wrong.

well that explains a lot. You should of said in your first post you were having a problem with a custom screen you made.
also, not sure if you knew or not, but if you used LS3.0 there is freedrive skin available that can be used with LSX. I also plan to update it very soon.

Can you post a screen shot of the screen your made for freedrive?

The error appears only if i run Word, Excel or Outlook embedded in RR before iGuidance (SKINbedder).

Take a look to the my launch commands, RR.ini and ExcTBL.ini

However is not very important

full screen vis

i got the visu working in LSX, but i have yet to figure out how to make the vis fullscreen. I loved this feature in LS 3.0 and was sad that it didn't exist in LSX but it looks like i may have been mistaken.

ok, thats a key piece of information that you didnt state before. I was not aware you were embeding OFFICE in RR. That probably explains why its looking in your office dir for IG. The issue here im guessing is SKINbedder and or RR embeding multiple apps at the same time (on different screens).
Generaly i make it a point to only have ONE app embeded in RR at any given time, there seems to be issues otherwise. Example, you'll note that when you leave the WEB screen, it will automaticly close the embeded browser and not minimize it. I suggest you setup office the same way.
This gets rid of any issues with similar window names, and application focus.

ill take a look at the files though, and see if anything sticks out.

the ig not embeding on the first try is a timeing issue (SB related) and seems to be different for each machine as to how fast it can load IG. There is a thread around here that has a HOW TO on how to make it so SB embeds IG perfectly every time. I'll have to dig it up and put a link here. I have the same issues with IG in my car sometimes it wont embed on the first try if for some reason its loading slower than normal.

As for the touchscreen stuff, at exactly what point do you loose the touchscreen. And when you say touchscreen, do you mean you loose ALL touchscreen functions on the computer? ie; the hardware is not working anymore inside or outside of Road Runner? OR do you mean that RR stops responding to mouse clicks either from a physical mouse or TS.
What do you do when you loose TS? How are you putting the computer into hybernation? w keyboard?

I've been toying with it a bit at home, and I like it a lot! If only the're would've been a green option for the colour scheme...
Anyway, after some time, the cursor dissapeared from the screen...

you mean clicking the DATE right?
also, there may be a option you need to check in winamp to double click the visu and go fullscreen. I know you can right click the visu and pick fullscreen from the menu, but thats a pain in the car.
Actually i just checked, and there is an option in winamp you need to check.
Start the VISU and rightclick the visu window> AVS editor> Settings> Fullscreen> check box "Doubleclick in main window goes fullscreen..."

i think the cursor is only controlled by RR, there are no options for hideing the cursor from a skin. Double check your rr.ini or rrconfig.exe

Restarting RR, the problem dissapears, it's just that I don't recall this happening with the other skins...it's nothing anyway, I just thought you should know.
