Make the PSD have a layer with coloured and one with two shades of grey/brown, then I can include one coloured one greyed and one with BMW logo, then people can choose which they want to use.

My guess is he used an effect called scan lines. There is another skin that uses a similar effect and someone has posted a link to a tutorial. I might look into created some new backgrounds to get some better quality and maybe get a more 3D effect as 0l33 l suggested.

Actually you in that thread and it was posted by 0l33 l

Yeah, I've just seen that. Wasted a PM to Boris about it just now...

I think I'm gonna do the skin another way. Gonna change most of the backgrounds to make it similar to the iDrive one.
I started a new thread asking for iDrive screenshots: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...748#post727748
I'm gonna get to it and see what I come up with. I'm gonna post here my progress, and try and make it in such a way everyone likes it...let's hope I'll find the necesary time...

Sweet Enforcer! I was just gonna suggest that!

I'll start working on the background screens tommow...
If I may another suggestion, I kind of liked the pop up window of the volume, as I don't really use. It would be great if you could make it so there would be two versions...

Thinking of moving the street name (sourced from Freedrive or Map Monkey)to centre top and scrolling to match the scrolling song which is centre bottom.

And adding a phone button somewhere, maybe next to the weather one.

Great job guys. I have installed the skin and it works great. Just two things do not work properly:
1.- Entertainment screen
DVD label is not clickable. The blue side strip is moved form the DVD label. So if you want to click DVD you have to do it in the bootom part of the screen not in DVD label

2.- Speed
I have installed Freedrive and I do not have the speed value next to speed tag when freedrive is working. Do i have to configure any txt file?

Thanks and keep working
