Just been playing with FD, got it resizing now in a couple of seconds here :-) Its still beta, but it also includes a few more updates (ie fix for disappearing menus)

I have tested it resizing on this skin an have got rid of the overspill of the mapinfo, so it looks nicer.

Another thing I noticed was it was flashing when pressing the RR buttons on the bottom. To fix this you need to cut a hole in RR's skin, so on the external_gps skin add this under the A001 at the bottom

C001,0,87,800,314,0

You can also set RR to hide all icons / Desktop so you wont see anything behind FD whilst it loads.

I will upload the update to the site now, will be there in 10 mins :-)

The new freedrive had a real speed improvement.. freedrive now also embedding correctly with the updated skin

(also starting faster, great work!)

Now I'm struggling a bit with the main screen... still can't get the vol+ button to work, and the mute button flashes constantly. (doesn't do this in other skins)

i had the mute bug breifly earlier. it only flashes when muted, but doesnt when unmuted.

then it went away again.... I looked in the config briefly but saw no problems...

The indicator problem is the 6th one, it's the attenuator. It blinks when the ATT.pst file exists in the RR folder. The ATT button only works in the audioplayer and if you push it then switch screens the mute will continue to flash. You can switch the ATT button to mute and delete the indicators for it if it becomes a headache.

great skin.....how long till maybe a sirius page is done?

also, it'd be neat to have the main page display the cover art of the current playing song, similar to MC2.0

The main PSD is now available on the first post. If someone want's to finish the XM, Sirus, external DVD, TV and Iguidance skin have at it. If anyone else wants the other PSD's let me know.

Problems. I just downloaded the Mar 10 update. Now it is all messed up for me. When I open RR I get a visible strip only about an inch wide and the proper height. The background is all black and I see some partial menus in white. If I click on one of them I seem to get a normal sized screen but with a grey screen mostly obscuring the correct screen. I end up killing it in task manager since I can’t see the buttons. Any ideas?
What is that PSD and do I need it?

Oh btw, I love that night skin. Looking forward to it.

Would there be any way to make the main screen have a visualization while playing music? I want that whole middle area to be my winamp vis, but i'm afraid it might not be possible.

EricE do you have a the lastest version of RR? The PSD file is the photoshop file used to create the the picture. I think you can use GIMP "which is free" to edit the PSD file.

WoLLy you can't make a round vis but you can make some type of frame in the middle and add it in that and then add a button to turn off and on.

Is there any way to make an oval shaped transparent mask that goes over it? I sorta like the layout as it is, i think you did a great job, and i'd like to work with that.

I have been playing around with flash and this is the out come. I am on my third day with messing around with flash so its still real buggy.
