I also did a night version of that skin fitting to the green light in my volkswagen.

Very nice skin, has just about all the basic stuff I also use.
When using mapmonkey, the buttons on the GPS page don't do what they are supposed to do i guess. They work as audio pause, next, and exit.
Keep up the good work!

Cant get filefactory to work.... my comment above goes for looks.... I'll wait until it gets hosted on rrdownloads or some decent download site, cause I've lost my patience and best part of a half hour trying to DL.... cant tell if its firefox it isnt liking, or if filefactory just sucks... or both....

do you know a better free webspace than that filefactory? I tried it yesterday and i also couldn't get it working. Perhaps there is a traffic limit?

edit: here is a new download link:

I pm'd guino right now if he could host my skin on his site.

@bjorker:

you need to have the newest Mapmonkey-Version or the patch for the older version to get the gps skin working properly.
And you have to change your settings.ini in the mapmokey folder like that:

ListenPort=9913

I also can upload my mm-skin that has no menu and scroll-bar to get more space for the map.

Hope this helps, workes fine for me,
thorsten

Thnx,
I only tried the nightskin last weekend, and that one didn't embed MM properly and had the problem with the buttons.

Just downloaded TR-Blue, and that one works perfectly.

Didn't really check it out but the DESTINATOR_GPS.skin from the nightskin looks somewhat different then the one from Blue.

Yeah, i'm interested in your mm-skin with no menu and scroll bar. Would be great if you could upload it somewhere

@bjorker:
just ckecked it. if you exchange the destinator_gps.skin of tr_night with the one from tr-blue it should work fine...my mistake forgot to update that

My MM-skin is in german with german keyboard layout and menus. but there are some english one around. if german is ok for you i can upload it somewhere.

edit: here it is:
http://www.filehosting.cc/download.php?id=7E711019

Ah, one more thing: If you are searching an exit-button: It's the VW-LOGO.
didn't mention that before ;-)

Hey guys - if you don't mind, could I add your skin to our skin system at www.mobile-effects.com? I'll start the addition process and post an update here when it's available.

Thanks

I'm confused - Took like 30 minutes, but I downloaded the night skin (TR-Night.rar) and the blue skin (TR-MM-skin.rar).

The night skin runs and installs fine. The blue skin doesn't work correctly. It almost seems like it's just a skin for Map Monkey or something. I don't have MM, so I don't know what's up. Is there a different link/file for the actual TM-Blue skin?

Anyway, the TR-Night skin is now up at www.mobile-effects.com
Log in or create a new account if you don't have one, and head over to the Skin System. It's located under Road Runner skins, or you can find it by clicking the new skins link.

PM with info about your blue skin - or email me your file. My gmail account is listed on the homepage at www.mobile-effects.com.

I couldnt get the VW button on the night skin to exit out - anyone else have this problem?

Edit - nevermind, just found the TR-Blue.rar download on one of the Filehost things. Not sure why I kept getting the TR-MM-skin.rar pop up thru them, but I got it now.....

The TR-Blue skin is now up at www.mobile-effects.com
I will be adding the Map Monkey skin soon

I still can't get the VW button to exit on the Blue skin as well. I think I need to update my Road Runner version or something. Anyone else having problems?

Edit: Can anyone provide/post a screenshot of the Map Monkey skin? I need that to add to the site. Please PM me and let me know if you post a screenshot. Thanks

the skin has no exit menu, because i don't use it. i changed my exit options in rrconfig from "menu" to "exit". If you have it configured to use the menu RR looks for the exit_menu-skin and can't find it. thats why the button doesn't work for you.
If more people are missing that menu i could do one for you as soon i have some more time.
