Guys -

Can this be done? I am trying to create a AudioBrowser skin but to save skin space on the page, launch the AlphaPad as a popup via Menu; ....

Do those selections end up in neverland or can I do this in such a way so the AudioBrowser skin page will recieve those?

Sorry if this is stupid - I have the popup all working but did as a test and before I dive into this too much wanted to see if I was out of luck?

I should have been more clear... I mean an aplhapad like LS uses in LSX but is on the bottom of the AudioBrowser - or Astro uses in that skin. Essentially a keypad to narrow down your audio sort ABC DEF HIJ .... But execute as a PopupMenu vs within the skin page itslef, then get out of the way.

I am looking at the NUMOSK and other examples "similar" but wonder if this cant be done?

it can be done as a popup but you will need a button for all letters because you can not switch back to the popup where you left off.
Button would be "MENU;Audio_Browser.skin||SKIPTO;A"

Thx MGD, let me work from there --- I assumed from your Astro skin and LSX this was not an easy task or you guys would have done this. I am either going to do that or use another skin page to emulate the popup process.

MGS - I did not ask this earlier as I figured it would be an easy find... my bad. Do you have the coordinates syntax for MENU popup loads... or a post - example - i saw your one post with timouts syntax.

I will keep searching and know LS uses this in VOID so am looking there as well.

in lsxvoid it uses switch buttons, im not sure if it can be done in a pop up or not, i never tried, just seems like an extra step added to the mix to me.
are you trying to add the popup from the audio player or from the audio browser?

I actually am working from some of your work in LSX --- what I wanted to do to maximize usable screen and since I don't need this up all the time, a button or hotspot that will bring up a small SMS/ALPHAPAD as a popup to get me in the list where I need - then drop out. Also, by doing this I can use larger buttons and know they will get out of the way...

Any input would be appreciated ... I have a few workarounds to accomplish this but that is the reason I am doing this...

Like I sayed before, you can not use the SWITCHBUTTON command in a popup menu. You need to have a button for every letter in the popup to browse by alphabet.
