Popup Skin Menus?

Is there a way to create a pop up skin menu wherever you want it.

IE, the exit menu pops up and is often small. I can make it bigger by making the image bigger. But what if I wanted to move it to the side? Or to the bottom of the screen.

Or a audio slider pop up wherever I want it on top of another skin. This is whats missing for that real polished OEM style look. Pioneer z1 does it just fine.

The best advice i can give is,Have a dig around inside your current skin for the Exit menu and see how its been done.
Create a backup of the popup image and change it.

It helps to download a few skins and pull em apart so to speak,see how the button codes work and such.

You can have the menu popup wherever you want. Here are 2 screens with the exit menu popup at the center and the 2nd one with the /POSX and /POSY commands in the skin file.
In the exit_Menu.skin put this code
/POSX=25
/POSY=25

thanks, but still dont know how to force a new type of popup menu. adding POS commands to the skin i want to move around just shifts the entire screens perspective. Screwing things up.

well i finally realized i had skincommands.txt
checked it out

command i needed is
B,570,103,62,81,"MENU;Whatever.skin;Whatever",

works well. Will make everything much easier now

I was using the Launch command before and that just wont do

Place these values at the top of the *.skin file
I used a pop up menu in my drop skin.

I was able to make it look like a drop down menu with this method.
