Is there any way to remove the highlighting of a button when the mouse cursor is over it?
I only want the button to light when u press it, and other be in the off state. Currently the highlight/selection follows the mouse cursor location.

You'd have to edit the graphics for each screen or the skin file for each screen.

I have version 3.3 and don't have the search function that goes in between the scroll up and scroll down arrows. I saw there was a fix for 3.2, but that should've been fixed in the newer 3.3?

Also, I don't have the scroll up arrow in the main screen where the songs are listed, but I do have a down arrow.

This was after a full uninstall of LSX Void and RR and a reinstall of them.

On the third line of each.skin file there is a list of four graphic files, you will need to change the third one to be the same as the second one.

I believe someone has done a little program to change the same thing in all the files in a folder, that might help you.

first I must say... Ls has the coolest skin out there!

Second, I'm having a few issues... In the screenshot in the first post on this thread it shows the title of the song and the album I beleive. But mine just says "saved playlist" on that screen, but when I go to the next main screen, it will show me the album. The other issue is the flash compass on the main screen shoes up and all, but it does not move. Any suggestions? I'm running 3.2, but I would like to upgrade to 3.3 if I could get some help clearing the current 3.2 install before. I'm not sure what to change in the rr.ini file.

Quick question, what is the function that polls the GPS for your "city location"? Is it possible to make this update like maybe in 5 minutes intervals or something? So far, it seems to only change whenever I restart RR or something, although I've never really tested it. If I go on a roadtrip, I think it would be just kind of neat to know what city I"m in as I'm passing through them.

It would make more sense that you upgrade then troubleshoot; do it and then if you have problems come back.

ok, cool... I upgraded and am now running the 3.301 update. One of the problems went away and I gained another. I now see the song artist and title on the mainscreen now, and this is all wonderful now, but now I cannot adjust the volume, and the flash compass still doesn't work. The volume thing is new. Best I can tell, i went into the mixer and clicked on the rock setting and nothing happened, and so I tried them all just to see if if would work, and nothing happened until I clicked on Jazz setting. Then it turned the volume all the way down and then brought it back up to the middle. I can't turn it down or up, and i even tried to use the windows volume control from the startbar (where the time is) and right after i adjust it, it jumps right back up to the middle.

As for the flash compass, my GPS receiver is connected and I have set the port number to the correct port via the OPT menu in the skin. and it still doesn't work.

It sounds like you need to split the GPS signal with xport. I'm not familiar with assigning a port via LSX options but i strongly suggest you input the port number directly in rrconfig.

For the sound, go into rrconfig and map the volume to "master" see if that helps.

I haven't played with xport yet, but that may be the way to go since I use iG and it may initialize in the background when I start the skin.

As for the sound volume. I did some messing around and didn't find anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled the skin. Then I did some more messing around and found a temporary solution. When the skin starts it forces the volume to 50% and will not let me change the volume via the skin or in windows taskbar. BUT... if I mute using the skin, and then unmute it, I get volume control back. If i attempt to mute it again, it forces the volume back to 50% and I then have to mute and unmute to get the control back. Sounds strange doesn't it? Oh, and the "master" volume was already controlled by RRConfig.

I've tried searching but I have two issues.

Since applying the 3.3 update I have two issues:
1. The city location does not appear on the main screen anymore, I get the speed data but not the location.
2. How do you disable the "screensaver" that appears after a few minutes when on the main music screen? Prior to 3.3 I never saw this screen but now this screen appears after about 3 minutes and I really want to disable it.

I can't answer #1, but #2 you can "fix" by turning the auto album art option off. You can' find it in the OPT section of the skin in 3.3.
