Can you please elaborate on how to install ... I got all parts but i can not configure CF to launch Earth ... (How?)

In CF:
Click the Settings button.
Click + to add an app.
Click external app (not plug-in)
Name it earth.
Run SKINbedder.exe
Params: GENexus
Title: GENexus


You can also do it by editing external.xml in the CF\system folder.

Hi,

A very nice work. I've downloaded all the materials but having trouble making it work. The left view buttons does not work, i can't see the "Show GoopS" and "Show Nav" buttons. Can you send me the full working directory of the GENexus? SO that i can check the ini files and make it work.

You cannot see Show Left and Show GooPS in the initial "windowed view". If you are using CF with the Nexus skin, click in the center of the very left edge to make it full-screen (or just setup CF to launch it fullscreen from the beginning).

If you are not using CF, you may have to adjust it to make it work. If you just want to see it run in Sb with all the buttons (no front-end), then just open GENexus.ini and add 200 or so to the height.

I appreciate all the work you've put in to Skinbedder and the GPS skins. This is some killer stuff you have been making. I was wondering if you could update GE Nexus for GooPs 1.8 and add the address functionality as you have in GE Freedom.

Sorry Merc, the address stuff is done through RREarth. Freedom-Earth is not even a SKINbedder skin. It's just an RR skin with a bunch of Auto-It scripts that control GooPs.

I would update GE-Nexus if I could add the addresses, but just updating to GooPs 1.8 doesn't make much sense. If you want to use 1.8, all you have to do is copy 1.8's .exe to the folder, open the main GENexus.ini file and change it kill 1.8, then edit the Run-GE.au3 auto it script and tell it to run 1.8, then right-click, compile it to Run-GE.exe.

If you ever want to make a RR skin I would be happy to help you with ini/skin files and making iG/GE/Sling skins for it.

For some reason, Goops isn't getting skinned using 1.8. Do I need to change the window class param in the "GooPsWindow" folder?

I don't think so... only the filename changes, the window names have always been the same I believe. I can look at making you a GE-Nexus for 1.8 if you are having trouble with it. All you should really have to do is change the auto-it script though (???).
