PCCAR is set in a car already more than 3 months. I also use the Front Ends of RR with skin Bmv2 and Oziexplorer for a navigation. All works remarkably. However much practice rotined that it is necessary automatically to save tracks and waypoints at the shutdown of computer on leaving from a car. (In hand I often forget it to do). I also want to have a map on all screen without instrumental panels and other inscriptions. In an ideal it would be necessary to have pop-up panel, as in the videoplayer of Bmv2.
I already have some experience with RR with skin Bmv2. Therefore:
1. I set Oziembeddedv1.0.
2. Replaced the files of Ozi in the folder of skin on files from the complete set of Oziembeddedv1.0.zip.
3 Replaced a line in a main menu on the button «Oziexplorer» on:B17,473,305,317,99,"LOAD;OZI.SKIN;OZI EXPLORER;C:\OziEmbeddedV1.0\SKINbedder.exe;OziEmbe dded","OziEmbedded"
I would like also to have the Russian lay-out of keyboard as on a photo:

So it sounds like you have got this installed and working? Yes or No?
Tracks and waypoints should be saved on shutdown and closing of OziExplorer from our skin.
If you have installed OziExplorer in C:\OziExplorer, you will find these files in C:\OziExplorer\Data. The file names look something like:
20080914-0150-06.wpt
This file was saved on 14th Sepember 2008 and the time was 1:50:06

Hey Rod,
I think I was leading people astray when I was asking about the language... It's that long ago that I got the embedding working properly, I forgot we're using the window class and not the text...
Anyway, it works!

Hallo all!
There is another moment which, as it is it seems to me necessary to take into account. The buttons in skin Bmv2 have a form of ellipse, and in Oziembedded of the button have a form of circle.

The screen of PCCAR has usually correlation of sides 9:16 and the buttons in skin Bmv2 become round, and button Oziembedded now have a form of ellipse.
It is good evidently on the example of the button Oziexplorer main menu – all the same our planet is round.

The RR buttons are all circular. I think you will find that the physical size of your screen is 800x480 pixels but you are running it in 800 x 600 mode. That's how mine is. So when your monitor displays graphics, they are slightly distorted becasue the monitor downscales one axis from 600 pixels to 480 pixles and circles become ovals. I just made an oval bluetooth button and when displayed in my car it is almost circular because of the same reason.
In our Skinbedder buttons, I copied the circular buttons from the RR skins so the size and dimensions are identical. The reason the Skinbedder buttons don't go all the way to the bottom of the screen is that we deliberately designed the buttons to fit on a 480 pixel deep screen without any modification. Your monitor therefore does not need to rescale the buttons and they display correctly so circles are circles.
If you are really annoyed by this, you can download the photoshop PSD's of the BMV2 skin and make them 800 x 480 for your monitor. The ones I found and used were 640x480 but had obviously just been resized from 800 x 600 because the buttons were oval and rescaling to 800x600 made them round again. You would need to redefine every button, label etc in every skin to that size. That would be quite a big job!
You will be on your own from here on guys becasue I am off on a holiday overseas in New Zealand for 3 weeks in the morning!
Rod

I think, that it not may need who travel on autobahn. For this purpose there are wonderful vectorial maps. But there are many deaf corners on our planet, where it is possible to use the only scanned map of locality.
We have for sale many navigators with the original vectorial maps (as a locomotive with the own rails), but all of them engulf cities Moscow and Sankt Petersburg and federal routes. I very like to accomplish OFF ROAD on our beautiful and wild places of nature of Ural
Therefore by the primary purpose of the use for PCCAR for me there was GPS navigation. And here a main violin belongs Oziexplorer. I think there are many people – hunters, fishermen, and other nature-lovers which will be thankful you Oziembedded...

Your program works only partly for me. At pressure of the buttons of 6a...6e a menu appears with the square window of map. The window of RUN ERROR appears at pressure of the button «OPEN»....

For you apparently set yet and Skinbedderv3p2 therefore part of the program works through him. Make attempt him temporally to hide elsewhere. Button F2...F6 work correctly. Button Zoom (with magnifying glass) does not work, in also time of the button RR (from above) «+» and «-» work.

Oohhh... there's a bug we didn't find after moving the install location...
in Map1.ini in the folder C:\OziEmbeddedV1.0\Ozi\Map
change the line
OnPressUp=Play(ButtonClick.wav),Run(C:\SkinbedderV 3P2\Ozi\Map\pressOpen.exe),Wait(1000),Close(Map),H ideSkin(Map1),LoadSkin(OziWindow:Menu1)
to
OnPressUp=Play(ButtonClick.wav),Run(C:\OziEmbedded V1.0\Ozi\Map\pressOpen.exe),Wait(1000),Close(Map), HideSkin(Map1),LoadSkin(OziWindow:Menu1)
Note: there are no spaces anywhere in those lines.
For anyone else downloading the skin, this has been fixed now.

In your program the search of windows goes on the English title.

@ SSan
If I'm not mistaken, that is the pressOpen script. That and the startup script are currently the only ones which use the name as part of the script.
In the startup script it is this line:
WinWaitActive("OziExplorer")
If you replace the name text in these two scripts, you should be fine.

Hi All
From the poll question I put up a while ago, we have 5 people following this thread and actually using OziEmbedded. I was hopefull that there may have been more.
Anyway, development will continue as Rod and I am working on it to make our own systems better and we will continue to release versions as they come about.
