I installed my first car PC in my first car almost four years ago. In March I traded the car (for a grand total of $600 for a '95 Concorde) in towards the purchase of my '04 Honda Accord LX.
I figured I could go without putting the computer in, but once you've had one, it's hard to live without it. So, over the past month and a half, I've been working on installing the computer. I finished the installation over the weekend.
Specs:
VIA m10000
512 MB RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
Phillips Acoustic Edge sound card
The following are some cell phone pics (R.I.P Canon A70) of the new setup.

The first thing I installed was the inverter and an aux audio input:
Here's the switch that turns the inverter on (safety switches are so cool):
Looks pretty stock, right?
BAM! Hidden screen (which is actually unhidden most of the time unless I'm in a sketchy neighborhood):
More screen (glare isn't a problem from the driver's position most of the time):
My mouse and super small keyboard fit in the center console:
The computer (still have some wire management to do):
The GPS receiver:

That's all the pictures I have right now. Not pictured is the controller I use for music. It's the Logitech NuLOOQ (
