Nice work. Glad to see Ford doesn't mess up the HU guide on all of them. Mine was bent at an angle that forced me to pull it and come up with another solution

Nice job getting the HU to fit back in if needed to, I didn't bother

P.S. Nice to see a fellow EC member over here too

Ha ha ha!! Yea - I found myself trading the Escape after a few months and moving into the Mariner - So I can't really trust myself with keeping this one for too long - Therefore I had to have a "back-to-stock" plan -
The HU guide didn't give me any problems at all (guess I lucked out) - It's definitely a full custom job though - which is why I enjoyed it the most. Thanks for paving the way for using the WRX Bezel with these models -

So now I want a new 2008 Mercury Mariner... I wonder if I would transfer this set-up into it.... They are super sexy in my opinion....

Clean install! Nice work. Now if only it weren't a Ford...

True - but I have to say - I'm pretty impressed with it. I used to be all about Japanese and Euro cars - I went from VWs, Hondas, Infinitis etc. and I must say, I'm not disappointed at all with these trucks...

Has anyone tried to use a relay between the Monitor/PSU with the ACC as ON/OFF?
Basically, what I wanna do is be able to power the monitor via my Opus PSU, but I want it to be able to also turn it ON/OFF when I turn/remove the key from the ignition? Has anyone ever tried this? I tried searching to no avail....
I bought this 4-prong relay from Radio Shack - but wanted to see if anyone ever tried it before I did something wrong on my own....

Easy. Wire the ignition power through the coil side, then wire the screen through the switched side. Kinda hard to mess up.
