2001 Ford Cougar 2.5l V6 - Car PC

I installed my CarPC a week ago. I initially planned to use a laptop, but since the laptop was broken just a few days before I wanted to install the CarPC, I used a PC with an inverter. The PC automatically turns on, when it gets power.

The Victim...
A 2001 Ford Cougar with a 2.5l V6 engine.

LCD Screen
DDWRT-6500 Double Din LCD Screen
With built-in FM receiver and DVD-drive

PC Details
Pentium IV - 2.4 Ghz
1 GB RAM
80 GB Harddrive
Onboard Video + Sound
Wireless Network Card

Other Hardware
12v->230v Inverter
Two switches (1 for turning the relais on, 1 for turning the pc on/off)
A relais for giving the inverter power.
Some fuzes
A bunch of cables
No amplifier yet!

Software
Windows XP SP2
Road Runner Frontend
PC Navigator + Destinator 6

Pics!!!!!!!!!!

It was a hell to get the screen in. I needed to cut a lot of plastic, and then there was a metal clip to hold the original ford radio, without screws. I had to drill the thing off.

I'll post more pics soon...

I'm not the OP, but it looks like standard automotive relays... Like the following:

I'm using a few of these in my CarPC project. They support up to a 30 amp load, so they should be good for most needs, including inverters.

Yep! I used the same relais as shown on your link. It supports 12V-30A.
